As I rode past the K&M office, I encountered Bruce Atiken, the husband of the park manager, Nancy Aitken. Mr.Aitkens yelled, "Slow down, slow down," and stopped me near the office, Aitken then proceeded at aggressively and got in my face, he then started yelling again, that I was exceeding the speed limit while operating my electric scooter. During the encounter, Bruce Aitken and Nancy Aitken raised their voices and continued yelling at me. I asked both individuals to de-escalate the situation and remain professional; however, they continued yelling. I then asked if they could articulate or provide an estimate of how fast they believed I was traveling on my electricscooter that goes nor more then mabey 13 miles per hr and im 250 pound man. They did not answer my question and continued telling me to "slow down." At that point, I chose to end the interaction by riding away from the area to avoid any further escalation. No further contact or issues occurred following the incident. This statement is a true and accurate summary of the events as I observed them on the above date and time. **Reporting Party:** John Boucher **Date:** June 29, 2026 Km Travel inn resort needs to look into the park manger. These two elderly people are unhinged and unethical, neither of them have perfesionallism or nor how to entract with public or guest of the resort. The park has many permanent residents, spots for long-term stays like ours, and several pull-thrus for overnighters. Not easy to get a reservation but well worth it if you can. Price is very reasonable. The park is kept very clean, laundry facilities are wonderful and not too expensive ($1.25 per load washer and dryer), and there is a sweet little stream running through the park sided by a large grassy area that was wonderful for our dog to run and play. No one objected to him being off leash there, but he comes when he's called, so I'm not sure how people would react to a dog that isn't under control. There were some ducks in the stream and a little bridge that crosses it. We felt very safe here and had quiet neighbors. There was noise from Trosper Road, but not more than the usual two-lane road, and certainly better than freeway noise would be in some of the other parks. Fred Meyer, UPS/fax store, Albertson's, Wal-Mart, and Costco nearby, also gas and coffee shops and other smaller stores. We would love to have found a house in this area. Would definitely recommend this place for short- or long-term stays.

First of all, the lady at the general store (main office) is incredibly friendly and warm. We stayed in the Angler's Den cabin and called ahead a few times with questions. She answered all of them and was very kind and helpful. The cabin came stocked with pots, plans, dishes, silverware, wine opener/bottler opener and really pretty much everything you would need. The cabin was actually quite large and had a true living room, kitchen (with large refrigerator), bathroom, and separate bedroom. There were multiple TV's within the cabin as well. Plus a large comfortable recliner chair! The cabin also had an air conditioning unit, which was much needed during the month of July. Not all cabins have AC, but most do. Offut Lake Resort is also in a densely wooded area with plenty of tall trees, so the shade throughout the resort keeps it much cooler. Even though the temps were in the high 80's when we were there, it was surprisingly shaded and comfortable throughout. The actual resort is nestled within a few neighborhoods near the lake. It is a quiet area and everyone seemed friendly. It was very safe and we were able to take our one year old son on a few long walks throughout the bordering neighborhoods. The resort has a playground with swings, a basketball court, and a larger grass area for other recreational activities. The general store/main office sells items you might need (or have forgot), and also sells beverages such as soda/juice/beer. The Lady of the Lake Restaurant is fantastic and is truly one of the best things about this small resort. It is incredibly convenient to be able to order takeout food for lunch or dinner from the restaurant and bring it back to your cabin. The restaurant is a short 3-5 minute walk from the camp sites and cabins. All of the food we had there was delicious and exceeded our expectations. The food was higher quality and tastier than what you might find at most bar & grills. Eating at the restaurant is also a nice option, and there is a bar there as well. It is a busy restaurant and seems to be a popular place with the locals. The fish & chips were delicious and something we would recommend! They also had a band play at the restaurant on Friday night. The lake is very scenic and tranquil. It is a shallow lake making it fairly warm and the water seemed clean. There is a small grass beach front area with rock wall that leads down to the lake. There are steps to walk down to get to the lake. We would recommend bringing water socks (or some type of water shoes) because the rocks at the bottom of the lake are a little harder to stand on. We brought sand toys, but then when we got there we realized there was no sand or beach area. Not a big deal at all, but just something to be aware of. It is a great lake to bring floaties to and float around. Next time I go back, I'll bring floaties with an anchor to anchor out in the middle of the lake. You can also fish off the dock or rent boats for the day. This is an underrated lake resort for people in Western Washington! I have lived in the Seattle area my whole life and I've never heard anyone talk about this place! The prices are very reasonable, it is a short trek from the Seattle area, and it feels like a true lake getaway. We stayed for two nights, but it would be easy to spend three or four nights there, especially if you rent boats and spent the day out on the lake. The Lady of the Lake restaurant is a great place to end the day and have drinks/dinner. This is a fun family resort, but would also be a fun option for couples or groups of friends. We stayed there in July during a nice streak of sunshine, but this could be a fun place to go in the Spring or Fall as well.

This place is an awesome experience and nothing like what I just described. The man who runs this put up a sawmill on the property and hand cut all the boards for the buildings he has on site. This was not his only dwelling, but it is the only treehouse and it gets booked up in advance. Hint hint... Book now. When you first arrive, you get the grand tour of the property showing you where you can go if you're hiking and where to avoid. Terry is very good about stopping the ATV frequently and pointing things out. The scenery around this is incredible. Only been here a few hours and we have already seen deer and a coyote. The treehouse itself is incredible. It has two main floors, the upper one being the bedroom. Not recommended for more than two people. The downstairs has a nice layout with a small kitchenette, bathroom, right off the kitchen, lounging area, and a nice covered patio attached. The upstairs has a stairwell that I will compare to a ladder but if you pay attention, you will have no problem with it Queen, size bed, and extra blankets if you need. There is a fire pit near the main entrance and two benches and two side chairs. They keep a nice supply of wood and you will be able to use that for your fire. Down underneath the treehouse is a barbecue area complete with gas grill. Utensils are provided And it works well. All in all this was an awesome adventure. There's a two nights stay minimum but time will go by very quickly. Terry, your host is very gracious and keeps the property wall maintained. If you're looking for an adventure that's a little off the beaten path. This is the place for you.

Today, I received an email from management saying I was automatically being enrolled in a insurance policy to protect me and my assets from liability for as little as a cup of coffee per month, but adding $60.00 per year to my rent. Really, they are requiring this to protect them from damages should my items in storage cause damage such as a fire, which I understand. While requiring proof of insurance is common in this industry, most personal insurance companies will provide this which they failed to mention in their email. I am asking my insurance company to send them certificates, listing them as additional insured. The owner is just trying to sugar coat a rent increase and not being candid about his mission, or giving customers the option to have their personal insurance company provide a certificate of insurance.
