Learned about this park from the book titled "60 Hikes Within 60 Miles of the Twin Cities." In…read moregeneral, the park was quite nice. Very nice views of the river along part of the path... You can hike for just over 2 miles (part of the original path has closed due to erosion from rainfall). The trails are pretty well-maintained, and I think that is because they are frequently used... We saw several other people there during our visit.

What a super cool place to avoid the heat or snow and have your kids burn off some energy. We were…read morechatting with a dad at a local outdoor playground and he mentioned GNG as a new-ish spot he brings his toddler to. After the heat took its toll, we decided to head over to GNG for some indoor fun. It is located in the midst of a sea of warehouses but you're not lost...it has a huge jungle gym space that requires those tall ceilings. The space is clean, as are the restrooms, with hand sanitizer throughout as well. There are snacks, drinks, and coffee for purchase. The prices are affordable and we opted for the $15 combo passes for the three kids to play in the gym and play 18 holes of mini golf. The play space is enclosed with socks required, so bring those with you (or purchase at GNG). There is an abundance of seating for parents to sit outside the play space or you can go in at no cost as a spectator. Our kids (7 & 11) loved both the jungle gym and the mini golf. There was no one in the large mini golf area and it is black lit and decorated in a pirate and nautical theme that was a lot of fun. I honestly would come back here to play mini golf without my kids with friends or my spouse. With kids was great, too, but the mini golf is also adult-friendly. The arcade was extremely expensive and not worth it, in our opinion. Makes sense, as they likely also pay a game rental company for use of the games. The one item our kids had success with and happiness from was a rubber duck claw machine that guarantees a winner. In general, this was an amazing place that we can't wait to come back to when we are back in town. Amazing find. Thanks, park dad!

This was a nice course for the price. We used our MN PGA card and got a two-for-one price…read more The staff was very welcoming. The starter let us go off early since we were ready and the foursome before us wasn't there yet. Appreciated that. We played in just over 4 hours. The forward tees are short coming in at less than 4800 yards. Tee boxes were a bit ragged. Fairways and greens were in good shape. Sand was not fluffy and more like light dirt. Not a lot of water on the course. Lots of trees and fairly narrow fairways. There were a couple of holes that were kind of goofy, and S-shaped hole, one with a tiny pond right next to the green that should have probably been a trap instead, and one that was using a temp green which severely shortened what should have been a par 5. Overall, it was a good course for the price.

The owner & the yoga instructor were super chill. Great way to re-energize - fresh air & goats! They had mats. Trust me, don't bring your own; you're in an outdoor, hay-filled pen area. You will get dirty. You will smell like barn. Totally worth it. Instructor was easy to follow; good easy flow to the class. The goats just roam, but a few times during the class they entice them by putting a little feed on your mat. They're super friendly, sweet. Some were more snuggly that others. Beautiful coloring, markings. At the end of the class they bring out the baby goats to hold, you can take pictures, and do your favorite yoga pose with your favorite goat.

I called Saturday afternoon to request to push the tee time back for the next day and he absolutely tore me a new one saying I was 6 hours late for my tee time and he wasn't able to book 2 golfers earlier that morning. mind you, it was raining that morning so I have a very hard time believing he had to turn away 2 people for a 7:45 tee time in mid Sept. I apologized multiple times and he would not accept any of them. I used to golf here all the time & throughly enjoyed it, but Ken has deterred us from ever golfing here again. Shouldn't be an issue anyways, my online account is now locked from making any tee times because of a simple mixup.
