Went here last night for the first time. This has always came highly recommended but for some reason we haven't gone yet. When we drove by it looked really busy with people outside waiting but we put our name on the list and only waited about 20 minutes. They had pagers so we waited in the car. This is by far the best Mexican we have found in the area. Now we are from the north so we are used to a little different Mexican and I'm a bit picky (although I don't look it) but I enjoyed my burrito (I did sub out a few things) the drinks were fire too! Bonus- they don't load things with cilantro which I cannot stand the taste so I appreciate light to minimal cilantro. Will for sure come back! Service was very friendly and it was cheap! Menu confusing. Food is ok.. salsa for the chips was bland... no flavor. That was a first for me. I ordered the torta de milanesa.. thinking they only had the steak milanesa like the taquerias usually do, since this is not a "usual" item at a restaurant but i was craving one so bad so i gave it a shot.. we'll no. They had options and the waitress chose the chicken one for me instead of ask me to confirm. Menu stated you could choose a torta de milanesa, asada, pollo, and something else i forgot last option... not milanesa de bistec o milanesa de pollo (more discriptive or easy to follow). Taste was ok but not what I wanted. Also this plate comes with fries on side but they were out of them and gave the option to choose rice, beans, or salad so I chose salad to go with my sandwich.. food came out and half of salad had brown lettuce.. was not fresh. Also, entire time that we were eating our meal, the staff was arguing back and forth and just being loud cutting up at a booth in the back. I didnt think it was very professional. Wish the staff was more professional, more communicative with the customer while ordering so everyone was on same page, and more attentive to customers and proud and happy to be working here. I had to wave someone over to request napkins. We did still pay for our meals but I let the owner know my concerns. Lastly, Drinks are $5 and have to pay for refills. Wish the waitress wouldve mentioned this at the beginning of ordering drinks instead of when the refill was needed... This blew my mind. This was my first time here, and dnt think I will return. All in all, tips i would recommend for this restaurant. -have staff be more professional and attentive when customers are present -have wait staff explain everything up front like the no refill on the drinks -have wait staff make sure order is correct and not ASSUME customers order or choose for them -do not serve brown old lettuce -remake menus read more

What a good surprise! Great food at a reasonable price! Stopped for lunch and ordered "Arroz con Pollo" (Rice with Chicken). Shredded chicken over rice with a white cheese sauce. Just enough spice to make it interesting for just $6.50! A tasty, filling lunch that didn't break the bank! Broadway May be a little out of the way for some, but it a nice drive and not far off Rt. 421. Service was friendly but not smothering. I'll be back.! read more

We arrived after 3pm. The cheese dip was hot like we like it. The Texas Fajitas was good and had plenty of steak chicken and shrimp. The 2 cheesy chicken tortilla was great. Service was good. Would definitely go back if in the area. Was told by a local to go there. read more

Cozy, bright restaurant in downtown Broadway. It is clear that the place is full of regulars who keep coming back. From start to finish our meal was perfect. Chips and salsa were excellent. Margaritas were delicious. Service was warm and personal and punctual. The place has an encyclopedic menu with all the Mexican delicacies we've come to expect. The highlight is Arroz con Pollo (abbreviated ACP on the menu). I tried a variety with more than just chicken.
