On our last visit, our group of about 20 had a great experience. We were seated promptly, received great service, our food was delivered quickly and was of very good quality - at a reasonable price. We shared a Parillada, which combines a few different types of meats including chorizo. The meat was flavorful, and delicious, comparable to higher-end restaurants in the US. Everything from the soup to coffee is good. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meal. I would not recommend the quesadillas, there are better places for that. On this Saturday (you should go on a weekend to get the full Tepoztlan market experience) they had live music, which was fine. Overall, it was a great choice for a meal. I would recommend it.

We will for sure be back in the unit we stayed in and Luna Mixteca for their Amazing Food.

There's just so much going on here! Considering you need tickets to get in and they go through security with you and you have to actually get there, it's just best to come with the tour group if you're not a native Spanish speaker. I used Viator to book the tour and Paradise in the Sky was the tour operator. They were amazing and they brought me all the way from Mexico City to here and took us to lunch and some other places before and after the pyramids. Definitely go with the tour group if you can! It was well worth it. This place is just well worth a visit. So much history and intrigue. Looking forward to bringing back my husband someday!

We beat most of the crowds, the temperature was more comfortable, and we had time to enjoy the site without feeling rushed. One of the best parts was being able to climb part of the Pyramid of the Moon. Looking out over the Avenue of the Dead from above really gives you a sense of just how massive and impressive Teotihuacán is. Photos do not fully capture the scale of the place. There is quite a bit of walking, so comfortable shoes, water, sunscreen, and a hat are a must. One important tourist tip from personal experience: vendors sell obsidian trinkets and may suggest looking at the sun through them. Do not do it. We tried it and both of us had fuzzy vision afterward that took about a day to completely disappear. Obsidian does not make it safe to look directly at the sun, so learn from our mistake. Going early made the entire experience much more enjoyable. Teotihuacán is absolutely worth the trip and was one of the most memorable stops of our time in Mexico.

Go with the linguine bolognese or the lasagna. I fully endorse both. If you can sit in the outdoor area, do it. The courtyard has live music, which makes for a great dining experience. Indoors is a bit tight and not all that impressive. If available, try the house wine (same name as the restaurant). I bought all of it the last time I was there, so I apologize if they're out by the time you arrive. If you really like it, they may sell you a case.
