Came here after reading the reviews and was completely disappointed with the food and the service. Not worth the drive here. We ordered a chicharrón de lonja fish appetizer it was chewy and tasted stale not at all how chicharrón should taste we also got a seafood sampler platter and it was flavorless and not at all fresh. And an arrachera steak that was overcooked. As if that wasn't bad enough the waiter was rude and kept taking plates away even when we were not finished and when questioned he rolled his eyes and said it's my job will not be coming back for sure read more

Good food, with attentive service. No direct flights to Guadalajara from New York City (that I could book anyway), but the food here was very good and the people are amongst the warmest anywhere. Lunch is late in Mexico compared to the USA at about 3pm. We enjoy very good grilled seabass and a large local lobster that was just a little overdone and borderline tough. The ceviches and aguachiles were excellent, fresh and flavorful. We definitely ordered too much food, but thoroughly enjoyed a wide selection of fresh seafood and will remember what we're missing in the Big Apple! read more

The place was good. Definitely a good place to go for seafood. I had the breaded shrimp. Yum is all I can say. Service was top notch. We also had the steak skewers and the ceviche as well as the Mexican taco. We also tried several deserts which were also very good. This restaurant is a very long time favorite. In the past year, they have remodeled the restaurant a bit, to make it a slightly more fancy place. The food is more intelligently plated, and I have to say it remains an excellent choice for seafood in Guadalajara. For me, a trip to the city would not be complete without a stop here. read more
