Extremely unprofessional!! I came in knowing that I had cavities and I am not perfect at brushing but try my best. She kept saying over and over how dirty my mouth is and she is having the hardest time seeing if I have more decay.... She kept stabbing and poking my mouth And pulling on spots that caused me to move my head. She told me that she is gentle but she can't be if I keep moving. Anything and everything was my fault. It got the point where I know she did not have any bedside banners and wouldn't be able to take care of me. She got up to make a dental plan and I already knew I wouldnt go forward from how disgustingly she spoke of me and dismissed my need for comfort. When I got the plan I told the gentleman I am not interested she is to rough for me and I need some gentle he nodded and left. She came storming in and I am not kidding when I say forced. She told me to look at how bad the tooth was and I told that I understand the urgency and that's why I came in but I am not comfortable with her. She continued to bash me and tried to scare me into buying her plan. Also the plan didnt include the other cavity and wanted me come back another time. Dr Lori Smith has been my Dentist for a couple of years. I had horrific pain from a couple of bad teeth. Dr Lori analyzed the situation & said a couple of teeth needed to be removed. I experienced no real pain from the time she started numbing to tooth removal. I MEAN NO PAIN! Matter of fact I had to ask her if she was done & she said yes! Her staff is wonderful also. With regular deep cleanings & I have followed their suggestions; my gum disease has improved significantly. I have retired to mid-town Tulsa. There is a dentist on every corner. I will gladly make the 45 mile drive to Dr Lori's office. She is the BEST Dentist & I don't plan on going anywhere else. read more

I have been seeing Dr. Lori Smith for a couple of years, and I have found the staff & Dr. Lori to be very nice & helpful. Recently I had an issue of severe dizziness & sickness from a tooth that required a root canal, and the office staff provided a wheelchair during my visit as well as used one to get me in my sister's car so I could be taken to the hospital. My neighbor told me about Dr. Lori Smith when I had what I thought was an emergency. I needed a good dentist, one who understood that I'm terribly nervous when I go to the dentist office for anything. I explained this when I made the first appointment to see Dr. Lori. No one laughed at me for being such a big baby, at the age of 64 I should be used to these things. The minute I walked in the office I felt relaxed, the receptionist was a sweet person who smiled genuinely at me. I signed in and barely got to sit down when here came Yvonne the dental assistant. It's always been that fast. What a special person Yvonne is. She also has a grand smile and made me feel glad I came. Dr. Lori was the same way, she's always so sweet and thoughtful. I explained to them about my nervousness and my emergency and by the end of the appointment we were laughing and telling stories on ourselves and my dental problem was fixed. I've been going to Dr. Lori for three years now and I've moved to Arkansas but will continue to drive back to Pryor for all my dental needs. It's not often any more that you find professional folks who smile and really want to help you. I'm still a nervous person when going to the dentist office but they do what is needed to make me comfortable. It's automatic and I don't feel embarrassed any more.
