She is very accommodating but best of all I have always had minimal to no wait time. The salon is centrally located with a diverse staff of stylist/barber. I enjoy seeing all the variety of styles and creativity produced by the stylist..customers always seem to leave very happy. I have also been present when a potential client has walked in without an appointment and needed a special hair favor...they have been accommodated. They also have a nail tech on staff with two pedi stations. The salon is clean and well maintained. The service is great and staff is professional and they all work well together. I must say in the over two years that I have been coming here I don't recall ever seeing a change in staff for those who prefer continuity.

The entire staff is completely friendly and always puts the customer first. When you first come in if you're brand new, they'll sit with you and have a conversation about what it is that you want to do but also suggest things or give input on if the style or color won't be flattering for your skin tone and or facial structure. I love the care that they take with each individual person. It definitely is a small town feel but with a warm hospitality that you want, unlike what you find in some large and/or commercial hair salons. There are multiple stylist's here but I have been going to see Taylor for over seven years now. She always does an amazing job on my hair and is always willing to listen to what I want to do but always guides me in the right direction if it's not gonna be the most flattering. This go round, I wanted to do purple highlights in my hair but I didn't want it to be over the top and also age-appropriate. I had sent her a few photos that I had found on Pinterest prior to and what I love about Taylor is that she puts the work in before hand. She does her research to see how the styling is done and researches the color in the hair. Then when I come in, we have a great conversation around what is appropriate and what we might need to change so that we don't have to do a whole lot to achieve the same desired effect! That's making it cost-effective. I'm very appreciative of her and will continue to go back time and time again.

Shannon" she replied "at Copperhead Salon" which is at the front of an IStudio in Maitland. I arrived on time and the friendliest man, Tony, asked if I'd like something to drink. When I said water and he asked "still or sparkling", little fireworks went off inside my head and a hallelujah chorus swelled in my mind as he handed me an ice cold can of La Croix! They scored major points for having my favorite beverage on hand! Then I met and spoke with Shannon, she was very chill, not super talkative. Very polite, direct and focused. I mentioned a few things my current short coiff was lacking, a few things I prefer and then she gently spun me away from the mirror and went Edward Scissorhands on my head. After she had delicately clipped and buzzed it, she styled my hair and blew it dry. I didn't even see it until she was completely finished. WOW! She turned me around and staring back from the mirror was a version of myself I totally adored!! Now that is how real creative magic happens! I was overjoyed and quickly scheduled my next appointment for color! YAY!!!

I decided I was done with getting hair services at chain salons. Just when I found a stylist I…read moreliked, I would learn that he or she moved onto a new location. After reading positive reviews about Amy Quest at Q&A by trusted Yelpers, I was quite certain I would love her services. And I was right. I used Q&A's online scheduling system to book a same-day haircut, deep conditioning and blow dry. I was a little confused as to where Q&A was located at first, but quickly realized it was located across from the Fashion Square Mall, next to Joann Fabrics in iStudio Salons. I was immediately greeted by Amy and enjoyed our conversation as well as fabulous results. I am shocked at how soft and healthy my hair feels; I honestly cannot remember when it last felt like this. I will be back for all of my hair needs.

Since the days of getting regular cuts, I lost my regular hairdresser. So began the hunt of someone new. Amy has been my 3rd in as many years and was recommended by a close friend. I have long hair and wanted 3" cut off so I wasn't worried it was going to go bad. What I was looking for,and found, was someone who knows how to cut layers. This isn't as easy as it sounds apparently. I loved that Amy was easy going, focused but could still talk to me, and laid back. She also had the most gentle hands I've ever felt on my head! She is proof that you don't have to have someone yanking, pulling and making your hair smoke to have a nice cut or charge more. They off course offer all hair services and are located in an istudio off Colonial Drive across from Dickies, behind the Red Lobster, next to JoAnn.
