My close friend hired this photographer to capture her 10year anniversary celebration, but the…read moreexperience was extremely disappointing from beginning to end. Instead of taking initiative and documenting the event, she seemed to expect constant direction about what to photograph. Rather than focusing on her job, she spent much of the evening socializing with guests, drinking, and smoking, often without her camera in hand. We hired a professional so we wouldn't have to manage the photography ourselves, but that's exactly what she appeared to expect. After the event, we were repeatedly told the photos would be ready soon. Weeks turned into months with little communication and multiple unanswered messages. Eventually, we were informed that every photo had been deleted and nothing could be recovered. Instead of taking responsibility, she blamed us, saying we should have instructed her throughout the event. She even suggested the photos couldn't have been that important to us, despite the fact that preserving meaningful memories is the very service she advertises. When we continued asking for updates after the promised delivery dates had passed, she accused us of harassing her. She also expressed frustration about not being paid, even though no photographs were ever delivered. Looking back, we're thankful we didn't pay in advance. The saddest part is that our friend now has no professional photos from a once-in-a-lifetime anniversary celebration. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend this photographer. If you decide to hire her, make sure you have a detailed written contract outlining expectations, deliverables, and deadlines.

It took months for her to respond to my messages, and when she finally did, she told me she had deleted all of my anniversary photos because she believed they were "all bad." I don't understand what gave her the right to make that decision without even giving me the opportunity to see the photos or decide for myself. Those were my memories, and they can never be recreated. Why would I pay you? You were drunk, and I never received the photos or any of the services I was supposed to receive. To make matters worse, her text messages were unprofessional and lacked the level of respect and accountability I expected from someone I hired. Instead of taking responsibility for the situation, I was left without any photos from one of the most important milestones in my life. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend her services. Professionalism, communication, and respect for a client's memories should never be optional.
