Review for Rachel - Travel Agent This review is for Rachel,…read morebecause while my trip itself was terrifying and traumatic, Rachel was the one thing that kept me grounded and safe. Rachel was never physically with me, but through her actions, I felt her presence constantly. When things went wrong and I was being treated poorly and felt genuinely scared for my safety, Rachel showed up without hesitation. She checked on me hourly, advocated relentlessly on my behalf, and never let me feel alone in a situation that left me overwhelmed and afraid. Rachel is not just an amazing travel agent -- she is an incredibly compassionate person. I truly don't know what I would have done without her support during those moments. Even after I finally made it home, Rachel continued to check on me, and in a gesture that perfectly reflects who she is, she sent me a $50 DoorDash gift card so I could relax and have dinner taken care of after everything I'd been through. The trip was awful, but Rachel never was. She stayed with me through consistency, advocacy, and genuine care. I will forever be grateful for her and cannot recommend her highly enough.

But not trusting my skill at finding the best option, I decided to talk to a local travel agent, and chose Cruise Elite. She'll get all my future travel business. Kudos!

Frantically downloading uber and venmo to get a ride. then ed showed up out of the blue (like the Bat! haha) and saved the rest of the night. gave him the address and he immediately confirmed the hotel name. his ride (then) is not your typical yellow cab but he did call in his pickup/destination. over his cell phone which gave me the impression he is connected with a fleet. he gave us a short run down of the streets specially where the restaurants and bars are nearest our hotel. his fare was honest and fair ( based on our own internet search). when we were close to our hotel we passed along a convenience store and Ed asked if we needed to go for quick stop to get what we may need. I quickly responded yes! my wife and i quickly went inside and got bottle if water and some chips and toothpaste. that was really cool of ed. on our flight back to the west, tried texting him to book a ride back to the airport through the number on his call card he gave us. his response was within minutes. he was precisely on time; like military precise. turns out he is a vet! (thank you for your service Sir Ed !) Keeping his card and will be sharing he's info to all we know who is headed out to DAB. Hoping to avail of his services again next time we are in.
