The scope of the…read morework included remodeling three bathrooms, a kitchen, painting the entire interior of the house, constructing an animal pen, and miscellaneous electrical and plumbing jobs, including running power and water to the aforementioned animal pen. Nearly every single aspect of the work completed by Matt and/or his subcontractors was defective/deficient/dangerous. Major problems ensued from the defective workmanship, including but not limited to: the trap/drain for a tub being installed upside down causing leaking into the ceiling, boring holes into the cement foundation of the home to run conduits, but failing to seal around them, allowing ground water to enter and leading to flooding into a newly constructed exercise room, the formation of black mold, and the need for subsequent demolition, mold remediation, and remodeling. The electrical work completed was found to be dangerous by an inspector and had to be re-done by another electrician. Almost everywhere one looks, there is something wrong with the work he performed. I have spent more than a year fixing all of the things he did wrong! Update: Matt lost a case for defective workmanship in CT Superior Court and has a judgment against him for this job. He is currently refusing to pay his court-ordered judgment, and a lien is being placed on his company because of it. He is a classic criminal in the sense that his tactic is to ignore and evade -- which, of course -- will only work for so long

On February 2023 I submitted an inquiry at Realtor.com looking for information on a property at a…read morebuilding in Mystic, CT. Within minutes a young lady from Garden Realty was calling looking to find out additional details on our wants and needs. A few minutes later that day, I received an email from Greg Hanner with additional information on the property, the area and an introductory video of himself, his realty company and services. Later that evening, Greg called me to introduce himself already informed on the details from my conversation with his assistant. He shared his background and extensive experience on the southeastern part of CT (2022 and now for 2023 the #1 Agent of the Year for CT New London County). I told him that we were early in our search and that we weren't even sure if we were ready to buy any properties. However, if we found the right place at the right price, we would consider it. Greg was very professional and pleasant, and even with this low-level interest, he was willing to assist us in our search. Over the next few days, he shared a series of property options, his own personal experiences with other buyers, and scheduled a viewing on the original property we had inquired on. Over the next few weeks, Greg facilitated several showings, and was present at each one, very engaged, clearly informed and knowledgeable. The unit had a renter and getting in for a viewing required some negotiating. Greg made the necessary arrangements and we there we found our dream unit! Greg helped us come up with the best and fairest offer which after some waiting (and back and forth with Greg) was accepted. Greg presented us with a bank for financing with whom he had plenty of experience and who were best suited for the area. Greg scheduled the property inspection with a local home inspection team he had worked with in the past. Greg was there throughout, asking questions, ensuring that we understood where there were areas of opportunity. From the inspection, there were a number of areas where we would need addressed at some point, so Greg negotiated a credit to the purchase price as to not disrupt the tenant to address some cosmetic issues. Overall, our experience with Greg was very positive. His knowledge of the local market, his experience as seasoned realtor, his pleasant demeanor, with and realistic expectations were exactly what we needed. A short few months later, we are happy owners of a beautiful condo unit in downtown Mystic a few minutes away from restaurants, shops and everything Mystic has to offer. Thanks Greg!!

One on site staff member was rude and unprofessional accusing homeowner of misrepresenting the job and suggesting that it was the homeowner's responsibility to provide an exact weight for the item before booking the job. Fortunately, we were able to find a very professional team at APM LLC to come and move the item the next day which took all of 5 minutes by a very professional team that had no difficulty at all!
