Im a big fan of Italian Amaro. Introduced to me by the fine folks at the Office in Chicago, My Amaro from Lorenzo Inga is a great balanced beverage. Not too sweet or bitter, the 30 or so herbs, roots, barks, and who knows what else goes in (it's almost like Chinese medicine except tasty) makes for years of refinement, with the end product being glorious. Not a beginner's booze but once you've gotten the acquired taste, it's definitely worth seeking out. read more
