Dr. Singh and his assistant had the BEST bedside manners. After the initial visit, Dr. Singh laid out the procedure, all the while making my nephew feel at ease, and scheduled us back in about 10 days. Dr. Singh let me stay in the extraction room to help comfort my nephew, numbed him up and kept checking in with my nephew on his comfort level. The wisdom teeth were huge and stuck and the Dr got them out! The after care instructions and medicine were very helpful and thorough and my nephew felt noticably better after a week, & was eating soft cooked foods by week 2. The office is inviting and very clean. Staff is friendly as well and we HIGHLY recommend this business!

DDS, Nihad Jebrini, his license number is #43797. He claimed a crown was needed on tooth #19 and it was medically necessary. Denti-Cal sent over a letter of denial for the crown given reason #16 "Our records show that the tooth has been fixed with a filling or stainless steel crown." We were told to file an appeal with the insurance. We started the appeal and needed evidence to show the judge why a crown was medically necessary. In doing so to make our case stronger for the judge, we asked receptionist and office manger, Rebecca Hernandez if Jebrini could write a note stating that a crown is medically necessary. She advised me he will not write a letter. I told her so if he won't write a letter, then a crown is not deemed medically necessary. She stated to me Jebrini is on a call right now in the back, he will be out in just a minute. Jebrini came out and said what is all this yelling about. I said no is yelling, we are waiting for you to talk with you. He told me "are you on drugs? Get out of here." I told him call law enforcement, no one is under the influence. I then asked why he won't write a medically necessary note for a crown. He laughed sarcastically and left to go in the back without an answer. I told Hernandez to print out everything on our files and cancel all future appointments for us both. The other receptionist, Maria Mayra didn't even know the first name of the dentist she has been working with for years. Moral of the story, this dental office will claim you need something done medically, but will refuse to back you up with a letter that deems treatment medically necessary when they tell you to file an appeal. For parents who have mentally challenged kids, this dentist has a lot of bad Google Reviews about his work, how he treats his patients when they are in pain and the unhygienic and sanitary conditions this dental office has. A complaint has been filed to the Board of Dentist and Denti-Cal for investigation of authorization fraud. This dentist has numerous public complaints on him and disciplinary action was taken. MONEY, MONEY, MONEY HUNGRY THIS DENTIST IS. BEWARE WHEN CHOOSING A DENTIST THAT ACCEPTS DENTI-CAL. DENTI-CAL PAYS 1/10th LESS THAN ANY OTHER INSURANCE. I was very clear from the start about what I wanted done, and I spoke with this office multiple times beforehand. I was reassured repeatedly that they could take care of me. On the day of my appointment, after taking a full day off work, they told me they had lost my insurance information and had to call for approval while I was already driving to the office. That alone felt unprofessional, but I tried to stay understanding. The front office staff was actually very kind and welcoming, which initially put me at ease. The dental assistant was also friendly, listened to me, took my X-rays, and seemed to fully understand what I was requesting. Unfortunately, everything went downhill when the doctor came in. He was extremely rude, dismissive, and spoke over me the entire time. Despite me clearly explaining that I wanted full top and bottom dentures -- and that I had discussed this plan with other dentists -- he flat-out refused. He insisted on doing top dentures only and pushing root canals and caps on all of my bottom teeth instead, which I clearly stated I did not want. I also explained that my long-term plan was to move to implants within the next two years, which was actually recommended previously by Affordable Dentures in the Roseville Office (they do not accept insurance) . He still refused to listen and repeatedly talked over me. His reasoning was that bottom dentures can be uncomfortable and move -- something I already understood and had accepted. He then said that unless I agreed to his treatment plan, he "wasn't going to waste his time on me." That comment alone was completely inappropriate, unprofessional, and disrespectful. Patients deserve to be heard and treated with respect -- especially when they are informed, clear about their goals, and willing to discuss options. This doctor was none of that. Following 2 failed root canals over a period of years, ultimately required extraction of a first…read moremolar. [Previous root canals performed in other out of town dentists' offices.] Dr. Detomasi was pleasant, professional, and above all, clinically skilled. The extraction procedure was relatively painless in spite of long term, chronic infection and a stubbornly embedded, elongated root on the tooth. Post procedure, there was little to no pain, or swelling. However, may I stress the importance of following post-extraction care protocol to the letter. To not do so, is to invite post-op complications of swelling, infection, dry socket syndrome, and the need for further intervention. A one star downgrade is based on the behavior and demeanor of front office staff who were noted to be unprofessional. Young women sitting on, or reclining over [not at] their desks, chatting and laughing loudly when one enters the waiting room do not present a desirable first impression. In addition, several minutes elapsed before my presence was acknowledged. The messy waiting room itself might have caught their attention; it did mine. Magazines were in disarray on tables and on the floor, as were tissues, other debris. I would encourage more attention to staff professionalism and housekeeping. Other than that, my impression of Dr. Detomasi is positive and I heartily recommend his services.

I went home and picked the resin off until my tooth was smooth again. After my cleaning I told him I still had tartar build up on the inside of my permanent brace I have on the bottom backside of my teeth and he SANDED the tooth next to my brace! Not only do I still have the tartar on the brace but he shaved my other tooth to where it now has sensitivity and some sort of sharp edge that shreds my floss whenever I try to use it.
