We brought son #3 here for a college visit, so I can only review that process. Some colleges have days with big open houses, but we scheduled our own visit. We went to the admissions office and there was a group of 3 other perspective students with parents waiting and then we started on our tour of the campus. The tour was very thorough and then we met with someone in the business department and their admissions department. Loras has the Lynch Learning Center which is a great resource if you have student with special needs which is our case. It's designed to give your student the extra help they need in the college setting. Not many schools have that at the level they do. The visit was very thorough and we enjoyed the drive from the Chicago area to Dubuque. At this point, it's another potential school on the list, so who knows if we will be visiting it much more in the future. read more
