I hate to leave a negative review but I feel I owe it to future consumers for an objective review…read more I originally was going to book videography, photography and engagement photoshoot with Prestige because the price is incredible and portfolio seems legit, plus they had 5 star rating on yelp. I was going to take a risk and was hoping for the best. They pride themselves in being "Walmart" of photography business. Prices are definitely good, but like Walmart, quality suffers. Luckily I only tried them out for engagement photoshoot first, but was so disappointed when I got back the photos. Out of hundreds of photos, there was only about 2 "decent" ones I liked. The ones "edited" ones honestly looked like something I can just edit on apple phone, and I don't know much about photography. On top of $400 for 3 hr photoshoot,I live in San Jose and had to pay for flight to So Cal and pay for hair and makeup; it was money wasted. I didn't even used the engagement photo for my wedding reception. I actually ended up using photos we took while on vacation in Puerto Vallarta, because they were offering free 15 mins photoshoot and you only pay what you like ( we ended up with way photos we liked in this impromptu photo session than the 3 hrs spent with Prestige) On photoshoot day, Jan brought her daughter ( about 10 years I believe) as the helper. Her daughter was a sweetheart but it's still very unprofessional to bring a child as your "second photographer." I'm not sure if Jan was having a bad day, but I felt there was a lack of passion in photos and demeanor. It poured during photoshoot for 30 mins so I lost half and hour. I didn't get to go to my third location and I had 5 minutes left and wanted to do a quick outfit change to capture a couple photos in that outfit but Jan wasn't too happy about it but did obliges to my request. She didn't even offer to make up for the 30 mins we lost. I would've gladly paid a little extra. I gave them 2 stars because they were very responsive, answers all my question and concerns prior to the photoshoot, and I got my photos back quickly.

Never have I had this much of a tiring and frustrating experience with a person of business. My daughters Quincenera was on March 12 2022 and I barely got my wallet pictures on August 30th. The hall had also initially recommended her as the choreographer, the week before practice was supposed to begin she tells me that she cannot do the Sunday anymore and I would have to pick a different day. I could not pick a different day because one of the chambelanes would have to drop out. She found me someone else who was also charging $700 but told that lady to only make sure she showed me two songs. The lady thankfully said she did her own methods and actually did about 5 songs since she was very detailed. Throughout the process for the photographer I had to be the one to constantly check in and ask if she needed anything for the slideshow etc. She always seemed so unorganized and on the day of she was even 20 minutes late. She failed to mention that my daughter needed a red dress to coordinate her next to her Quincenera dress, she asked me the day of. She told me she did not have to be dressed just hair and make up done just to be told the day of that she needed the dress. She had told me the pictures would take a few months, I reached out on 4/20 at 7:14 in the morning asking for an update. No answer until I tried to call her which she ignored and responded at 6:37pm stating she was busy and would call me back at 9:30pm. She never called me to which I reached out on 4/21 at 930pm, she did not respond until 4/22 @11:04am. She said she could meet me that week after to deliver my stuff. She said Friday evening worked best but I did schedule her for 5/6 as I would have my daughter with me that day. I asked her if 6pm worked and she said yes. I messaged her that morning on 5/6 at 3:12 asking if we can meet at 5pm, no response. I called her and she told me she forgot we had an appointment. She said that she would call me back. She did not call me back, on 5/9 @7:17 am I reached out asking for a status, to which she responded she worked all weekend and when she went to the lab my pictures were not there. She said she would have them Tuesday 5/10. I asked her if we can do Thursday she said she was busy so I scheduled for Tuesday 5/10, I asked her if we can do 630 to which she said she needed to beat traffic and wanted to meet at 7 or 8pm. I asked her if 7 worked and no response, I text her again at 10 am she did not respond. I text her again at 11:33am and she finally said 7 was fine. She messaged me Tuesday 5/10 at 6:34 pm stating she was barely leaving and she would take an hour and 20 minutes. I was upset and called her to only find out it would not make sense to meet me Tuesday since she actually did not have my daugthers video and "she could see how upset I was." We agreed to meet Thursday (the day she said she was busy). She actually made it on time and she then told me she didnt realize I ordered the bigger package she thought I ordered he basic. She did not realize it came with a big portrait and she also forgot my wallets. She did not tell me how long it would take for my acrylic book on 5/27, no response. I messaged her again 5/31, no response. Finally I had to call her and she told me to text her my email to review pictures. She said she would send me an email I got no email, I messaged her on 6/20 asking her for the email, she was out of the office and said she would resend it. 6/22 I sent her another message because I got no email. I was once again ignored and messaged her on 6/24. She finally sends me the link hours later. I had my daughter review pictures and sent her a message on 6/29 that they were a go. Finally 7/28 pictures were ready but unfortunately my daugthers dad had covid so I scheduled the appointment for 8/11. She arrived but once again did not have my wallets or big portrait. She said she had forgot and had to send me a text for a reminder. She said this would only take a week, I waited patiently and messaged her on 8/26 asking for a status. She said Tuesday at 5pm, she messaged me Tuesday at 4:50 saying she was going to be there at 5:30 pm. I was there on time at 5 and waited, it was 5:30 she had not arrived. I called her and she said she was running late. Not only was she already late to our 5pm appointment she was late to being late. I was furious, she lacked even apologizing upon arrival. I called the hall and let them know and then she finally decided to apologize. This lady should not be in this industry she has no etiquette, no consideration for your time, and thinks time revolves around her. Please do not use her, she also gave me $30 off out of the 2k I paid her which was a slap in the face. The picture is of the screenshot where she finally apologized.
