While doing so, she was very nice, but when i got home and checked, she left wax in my hair and still missed hairs in my nose and a little on my brows. I understand maybe not all hairs will be pulled but she didn't do any clean up or check to make sure she got all the hairs or that she cleaned off excess wax. Was very annoyed that i had to pick wax off my neck and back of my head hair. I would like to go again but not with Vicky. I personally believe she only has this job due to her family in law owning it. I don't want or trust someone to wax me if they barely care for the work they are doing. I asked if this was something she loved doing and she then explained she only worked there because her old job sucked. Nothing personal with her but again i will not choose her again even if shes the only available one working. She also was supposed to wax, trim and shape my brows, all she did was wax the bottom, middle and top but she did not use any scissors to trim or shape my brows, super upset when that one wax service cost 21 dollars when other places cost $12-15 for just the brow wax. Other than Vicky's waxing skills, atmosphere was really nice and clean, i loved their hard wax, didn't hurt at all, really awesome formula. There was another lady who waxed my friend and did a great job! Not sure of her name but she had very very short hair that was blonde, i will need to find it out and ask for her next time!

We had one time where the nails were not what we expected, but every other time has been wonderful. They are always welcoming and do a great job. My husband is a diabetic, so he has to be careful and very attentive with his feet. They are one of the few places we have ever gone that he hasn't had an issue with getting cut or worrying about the cleanliness. I was surprised to see the bad reviews, because I have never seen any of what others describe.

The stylist told me that I would need a flat iron to make it look good. I have gotten many bobs in my life, some good, some great, some stunning; none of them required a flat iron to look good. But, perhaps, this is the difference between the $25 and the $65 cut. She blow dried it, and it still looked frumpy. When I checked out, the woman behind the noticed and whispered that I could return and have it touched up. I washed it today and realized that the cut is a total disaster. Sections of hair are sticking out in every direction. The lengths are uneven, and the lengths of the sections one one side of the head do not match the lengths of the other side. The back? Holy Cow. The back has two oddly distinct uneven layers. Neither my friends nor I have ever seen anything like- except for the time I cut my own hair. No one is sure what I going on with it. This is not just an off day for the stylist, but very bad technique by someone who cannot cut real hair and cannot shape different types of hair. I can say this; I was used as a hair model for Mario Tricochi because it is difficult to make my hair look bad. I have decided not to return. I figure that if Artistry considers bad basic technique "a great job", they cannot help me. I will just go elsewhere.
