Over time, we have seen remarkable improvement in his confidence, reasoning skills, discipline, and overall approach to learning. Kumon is not just a learning center rather it is journey where the instructors come forward as a family and leave no stone unturned to ensure holistic progress in the child. I noticed significant improvements in him, particularly in his confidence, reasoning ability, and overall maturity. I highly recommend other parents to explore Kumon center at Arlington Heights Road and McHenry Road led by Mrs. Vashi. Mrs. Vashi and Mrs. Shri lead an excellent team together, and you will quickly recognize their dedication and commitment as you start the journey of your kids with them.

You will learn but need to be careful. Other professors and those in the medical field have…read morequestioned her 'tactics'. You will learn the material, but the organization, communication, and professionalism need significant improvement. It is not reflective of the medical field, training or professionalism required. For a fast-track CNA program lasting roughly two weeks, students need a reliable schedule and clear expectations. Instead, there were at least six last-minute schedule changes, many with less than 12 hours' notice, with most of these hours overnight. Examples include being told at 10:00 p.m. that a specific non-smart watch was required for 8:00 a.m. the next morning, extending the course several days over a holiday weekend shortly before class began, then changing the schedule again and ending early after students had already cancelled work or travel plans. There was also only one day of clinicals, which seems inadequate for such a hands-on field. Most concerning, students were publicly called out or embarrassed. One student's "punishment" for talking was being required to teach part of the class the next day. Paying students should be taught by the qualified instructor they enrolled with, not used as part of another student's punishment. An accelerated program requires flexibility, but students should still receive professional communication, advance notice of required supplies, adequate clinical experience, and a schedule that is respected.

This class seemed like the best option available in my area, but unfortunately, the experience did…read morenot meet expectations because of the instructor. On the center's website, it states that the program "promises to deliver the utmost service to the students with ethical values, respect, and dignity." However, my experience in this class did not reflect those values. Mrs. Ace, I hope you take this feedback seriously and reflect on the concerns being brought forward instead of immediately arguing against them. One major issue is the way students' concerns are handled. Mrs. Ace has stated that anyone who writes a negative review will fail in the medical field and in her class. However, I passed her course and passed my CNA certification exam on my first attempt. Providing honest feedback does not determine a student's ability to succeed in healthcare. There were multiple situations where students were made to feel embarrassed, dismissed, or discouraged. For example, one student asked about a correction on a quiz question and attempted to explain her reasoning. Instead of discussing the concern professionally, Mrs. Ace refused to listen, repeatedly threatened to remove the student from the class, and the situation ended with the student crying. After discussing the same question with my father, who is a neurosurgeon, he agreed with the student's reasoning. This showed that the concern was valid and should have been addressed respectfully. Mrs. Ace frequently belittles students rather than creating an environment where they feel comfortable learning and asking questions. There is a difference between maintaining high standards and making students feel intimidated or disrespected. The biggest issue with this class is not the curriculum or clinical experience; it is the instructor's attitude, communication style, and treatment of students. A CNA program should prepare students for healthcare by encouraging professionalism, confidence, and respect.

I only put one star because I am not able to put 0. These people hit your child as a punishment. My…read more3 year old daughter told me on different occasions that her teacher hit her in her back, bottom, and leg. When filling out my paperwork with Carol she tried to guide me to lie about my wages for the YWCA child care program and she filled in information on my paperwork on her own without my consent. When I first filled out my paper work with Carol she said that there are cameras in her classes, but when I requested to look at the surveillance for any incidents my daughter was involved in Carol told me that the cameras are not in the classroom because there is an issue with her daycare LICENSE. She told me she groups 3yr old's with 6yr old's because "she can". She doesn't let you speak with the teacher during parent/teacher conferences. Carol tried to tell me that she doesn't call meetings "Parent/ teacher" conferences , but on her fraudulent website that's exactly what they're called. I tried to request another conference so that my child's father can be present and Carol terminated her enrollment a day before the conference. I never told her the accusations my daughter told me up until I had to pick up her things. The teacher not being present at the conference and then my daughter being practically kicked out was all the proof I needed that what my daughter said was true. My daughter also stated that she was placed in timeout with both arms up and one leg up facing a wall. My daughter being hit in her leg by the teacher was because she can't balance on one leg for no more than a few seconds. I was never given any written reports or calls for the children hitting my daughter that happened in the morning times which involved my daughter crying ,only verbal at the time of pick (3:30-4:00) . I asked my daughter on different days at random times in between conversations and my 3yr old story never changed. You never know the teachers REAL name or anyone's last name. I asked Carol to point out the pictures of the teachers that was in the class when incidents happened and she did, but when I picked up my daughter things, all of those pictures were removed from the BILL BOARD. Carol was not in the classroom at the time of these incidents and I was not able to speak with the staff that was. If you love your child I would not even look at this illegal centers way. If you decide to put your child in this CATHOLIC church/school then maybe your child need a new set of parents.

Let me start off by saying my teacher, Don, was amazing. He's personable, knowledgable and made…read morewhat I did learn fun. I signed up for this course because I'm a single mother and what I'm making now in my other two jobs is not enough, so I thought I could add to the days/nights I have free. I made my first of two payments and started the course. I only signed up to go to the Schaumburg location because the others are too far. About a little less than halfway through the course I was sitting with the teacher and he said, "Hey, I need the other half of your tuition." ME: Well, I'm taking off work early tomorrow to come and do the classes I haven't been able to get because they don't work with my schedule. Can I just pay you tomorrow? HIM: Don't you have a credit card? Besides, the owner came in and took all my files. He never does that. At least it'll look like I did something today. (he laughs) ME: Ok (I pay him the last payment) I'll see you tomorrow around 3pm The next day I leave work early, grab some lunch, and head to the school. There's a HUGE white truck/van taking up three spots in the lot. I grab my stuff and start walking in. There's a man standing outside on the phone and as I walk past him, he says, "What do you think you're doing?" ME: I'm going to class. What do you think I'm doing. But now I'm looking around and the owners of the truck are dumping whatever they can into trash cans and taking them out past me. MAN: There's no class. They were evicted this morning. ME: WHAT?!?! The sound of the hundreds of bottles being emptied into the dumpster outside is distracting MAN: Yeah, they were thrown out. You can't come in. So I walk out and sit in my car. They JUST took my money 12 hours before. I called the school's main number and a guy named Nico told me to come to their location and we'd work something out. He said I was only twenty minutes away and he had no idea what had happened. An HOUR and twenty-five minutes later I pull up in front of this janky looking strip mall with a check cashing place and I think it was a tarot card reader. I was afraid to park my car on this busy road. I walked in and found Nico and another man sitting in what I'm assuming was the office. I told them both there's no way after working a full day that I'm going to drive over an hour to a part of town that I wouldn't want to walk out at night by myself and I would like a refund. NICO: I'm not authorized to do that. But I'll leave a message for the man who can. ME: Is it going to be the owner? Because apparently he doesn't know how to pay his bills. I want you to make sure he has all my info. (He starts to write my name and number) I was on edge, I'll admit. I'm usually not that aggressive. NICO: I don't know. The owner doesn't know what happened. ME: I'll tell you what happened. Nobody gets their sh!t thrown out on the lawn for missing one payment. He knew. That's why he came in and took the files yesterday. He KNEW. (Blank stare from Nico) ME: So can you write down the name of the guy who's going to call me and where is he? NICO: Oh, he had to run out. I don't know his name. ME: You don't know his name? You work with the guy and you don't know his name? (Now, it's the owner, I know this now. And he ran out because I called my teacher and told him the school was being emptied into a dumpster.) NICO: Uh, his name is Frank (There is no Frank. He panicked not knowing if he should tell me the owner's name) ME: Ok, I'll wait for his call. No phone call ever came. So I contacted the bank I paid with and they gave me my money back. All of it. But I wasted SO much time and have nothing to show for it. Now I have to start over and find a new school, not located anywhere near me, and pay more because all the Christmas deals are over. They handled it like a$$hats. That's all. Nobody contacted me to try to make anything right. I am positive they couldn't have forgotten I came in. Just a shame for me and the 50-something other students who hadn't taken their test or finished the classes yet.

I searched on the internet and wanted to try this school since it was close to my home. I called the office and told them I was skeptical, so they encouraged me to just stop in on a class and observe. WOW, was I excited to see everyone working hands-on and with each other. I knew that this was the place I wanted to attend. The classes helped me with so many facets of bartending that I still adhere to today. While drink recipes are a major focus, the class also concentrates on pouring, cleanliness, and hardware knowledge. In fact, I think that the returning of all equipment and bottles to its original location is probably the most important thing I have learned and has pretty much become my mantra. The course was also fun and educational with stories and jokes. Don was an awesome teacher, and his experience and stories would leave you waiting to hear more. I always looked forward to attending classes and would stay until the last minute. Maybe the best about the program is the job placement service. After completing the courses, I was then worried about how I would find a job in bartending. However, the placement service they use could not have been any more easier. I took the coursework in March of 2014 and was able to have my first job the first week of April. I was looking to advance my career several months later, and again, the school provided me with a link to a position that I absolutely love working at today. Bartender American Professional Schools has changed my life by helping me to pursue a career I have always wanted and continues to guide me as I make my bartending journey. I would HIGHLY recommend this facility to anyone considering a field in bartending.
