Maybe the worst meal I have had in the two plus years I've lived here. I really wanted Asian food,…read moreand it was the only place in the immediate area, so I went for it. I should have known better when I showed up and they had Asian food, as well as burgers and döner. That's not a good mix. But I went ahead and ordered the peanut chicken and sat down to wait.
Got my food, no napkins to be found, which is annoying but one will survive. The food was served as such, bottom layer rice, next layer rice noodles, next layer a salad, top layer chicken, with the peanut sauce on the side. The rice and noodles were fine, are what they are. The salad was heated up on the flat top, was just lettuce, carrots, and onions, hardly standard fare for Asian places here.
The chicken had no seasoning, and therefore zero flavor. The worst part was the sauce. Normally a peanut sauce is made from like peanut butter, with some nice spices added for a good, savory flavor. This peanut sauce, though, tasted like roasted peanuts (with no salt) that were ground up, and blended together with just water. So it tasted kind of dirty and burnt, with a hint of peanut aftertaste. It was terrible.
Please avoid this place, they do not deserve your money. Even worse than other tourist traps around. Eat at the bakery, or Subway next door, or even Nordsee across the street before coming here.
