The kids had a blast and enjoyed the duckpin bowling and it was extremely affordable. We paid $35 for a family of 6 and had 2 hours of bowling. There is ample parking and inside there are two floors. The kids loved the funnel cakes and my brother said the pizza wasn't too bad (unfortunately, I'm unable to review the food bcz I wasn't hungry). The bathrooms are a bit tight and in need of an upgrade. More importantly, there isn't any hot water to wash your hands. This is a little difficult when you're trying to handle a one month old infant and don't want to put ice cold hands on him. Overall, the kids were satisfied and as long as I saw four big smiles I am also.

The food is amazing at Dual and the cooks also super friendly. I highly recommend Dual Lanes. South Side I would NOT recommend. Southside-a crap hole. The AC was "on" yet it was literally almost as hot inside as outside in mid-JULY. The carpet, tables and chairs are something from that 70's show. The bathrooms have no locks on the doors! No Mikes hard drinks or Smirnoff available at the concession. Also, they had a sign no credit/debit card purchases under $5.00...that is illegal! You either take cards or ya don't. Saturdays in the summer they offer 99cent/person games and that's a great deal.

As a west…read morecoaster I had never heard of such a sport but there are 10 Duckpin Bowling States: Connecticut, Maryland, Indiana, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Virginia and West Virginia. There are even professional leagues. I normally get bored quickly with regular bowling but I could have played Duckpin all night! The entire bowling alley is dedicated to the sport. The alleys are identical to the "standard" alley. Long lanes, ugly bowling shoes, but the pins are short and fat and the ball used is small, heavy, with no holes. It reminds me of a botchy ball. You step up to the line and bowl in turns just like the classic. The thing for me that makes it more fun is the pins will spin out and knock pins down that normally wouldn't if you were playing traditionally. This game is fun and exciting and I really enjoyed my time here. I wish there were some alleys here in SF maybe this will catch on in California and there will be 11 Duckpin states.

The owners are hard working, super nice, and they care about their customers. A very community based business. My favorite thing about this place is the pricing. It allows me to go and practice without putting too much of a dent in my wallet. From what I have seen they welcome all ages, from children to senior citizens. Any ability level. Pretty much anyone that is interested in bowling is welcome there. Even the customers are very friendly for the most part. If someone isn't saying hello it's most likely because they are concentrating on their game. Wish I would have known how great this place is years ago I would have been a regular long before now. They even have leagues set up for just about every skill level. Very nice and accommodating people in charge of those. I can not recommend this place highly enough for those serious about bowling. I'm writing this review after bowling there for several months. I can 100% say it's a friendly place that you should definitely visit. Side note- I can't believe they do not at least have four or five stars. Most likely due to a few disgruntled people that stopped by one time and had a misunderstanding. From what I have seen so far the employees and owners do whatever they can to accommodate everyone. Don't shy away from visiting this business please they are awesome people. Thank you Sunshine Lanes! :)

We were there to laser bowl and celebrate with my brother for his birthday. An older man told me we had to leave right after I got our drinks and sat down. Maybe the lady who sold me my drinks should've said something before I bought them but no instead we had to toss our drinks and we had to leave. Unfair and down right ignorant.
