BEWARE OF THIS SHOP - ZERO STARS IS MORE APPROPRIATE!!! *** Reposting this review after being asked to remove it by the owner who said he would make it right & didnt *** I walked into this shop asking for a dainty fine line flower on my hand.. I should've followed my first instinct and ran, while being tattooed by the artist Bell.. First off his son was running around in the room so he was distracted & in a rush to get to the next client... i told him before i left i didn't like the tattoo, he shaded the petals of the flower so the tattoo was to dark & looked nothing like the pic. He suggested i let it heal & it would lighten up... still doesn't fix the fact is looks nothing like what i wanted... I left the shop, called hoping to speak with the owner and got the same artist who again reiterated that he would not give me a refund and that I had to let the tattoo heal.. Later That day the tattoo started leaking from under the plastic. I texted the artist who told me just to wipe it off, That it was fine. The tattoo leaked all night And I was finally instructed by a doctor to remove the plastic. At which point it did stop leaking but the tattoo is horrible, out of line in areas, shaded when it shouldn't be & is not what i asked for. The next day i called and I asked to speak with the shop manager or the owner, but not until I posted my original review Did anyone contact me. Once Elizabeth reached out she agreed to give me a refund & offered to cover the tattoo once it was healed. The refund I wanted, however I don't want anyone from the shop tattooing me I wanted that specific tattoo and I don't want anything covering it.. When i voiced that to the owner & Elizabeth, I was told the only way I could get the refund is if I allowed them to cover it. I told them that I wasn't following that logic and that I just wanted my money back, i've already made an appointment to have the tattoo removed .. They told me again I couldn't get a refund unless I did the cover-up Which is a bizarre business practice and makes no logical sense. After i vocalize my dissatisfaction with being forced to get another tattoo in order to get my refund they stopped responding. So now I am reposting this review to make everyone aware to not visit this shop to get Ink coming from someone who is covered in Tattoos, The entire experience at the shop has been a nightmare!! Now i'm left with this ugly tattoo or out of pocket more money to have it removed & redone!! Moral of the story - go to big time customs down the street if you want ink !!! Chris is an absolutely amazing artists. We came in for my wife to get a gemstone tattoo on her chest and it came out absolutely perfect. Pricing is fair and the shop is clean and organized. I went to Long Island for memorial tattoo I lost my wife in 2024 DJ the put the wrong date on my tattoo then he said he it by adding two hearts to cover over the date that was wrong now I have a memorial tattoo that I did not want because of the mistake. I was told there's no refund so be very careful if you go to this place to have a tattoo done oh, by the way, the tattoo artist tried to blame me for not looking at the stencil that he drew up isn't that a joke? read more

I came here and scott messed up my septum. I don't even know why he piercing he really should find another profession if he didn't know what he was doing. He asked me repeatedly if he was in the correct spot from my last septum and I said yes, but still he found a way to mess up and pierce INCORRECT. after piercing he said it will heal and the other side will go back up and thats what made me look at my nose and I'm glad I did. LIZ helped me so go to her if y'all want your piercing correct. Scott is the African American man with stretched ears and dread like hair and he usually answers the phone calls. If you guys see him in the piercing shop ask for another piercer immediately. I took a video of him piercing my nose so I will leave a picture from the video and show y'all how crooked and low one of the sides was. I've been going to this business since they've opened. I got my septum pierced here at 18 and my first tattoo at 19. I've always loved my experiences and have referred multiple people to this establishment, and planned to get more work done eventually. That being said, I will NEVER give them a penny of my hard work EVER again. Even if they paid me to. (4/15/2022) I originally got my Medusa pierced at Studio219 in Atlanta (highly recommend, very much worth the drive) Unfortunately while I was at work on 5/8/2022, the top ball of my piercing came out and I stopped by Long Island Ink to get a quick replacement since my busy schedule didn't allow for an hour long drive to S219 that day. I just didn't want the hole to close. I stepped into L.I.I. & explained to the receptionist Liz, which is also a "professional" piercer, my predicament and that my piercing was only a few weeks old and how it fell out etc. She showed me a little box and pointed to the labrets I had to choose from. They charged $20 for the jewelry & another $20 to put it in. Overpriced, but I wanted my piercing open no matter what. Today (5/21/22) I run my tongue across the back of my lip and notice the back of the labret is almost completely embedded in the inside of my lip and the skin is almost completely healed over it. So after work I stop by and the energy is already tense before a word is spoken. Liz is again the receptionist but I guess I caught her on an off day because the attitude and arrogance was real. She was the same person who helped me select my jewelry, yet when I showed her it was too small and burying under my skin she was completely defensive and was like "Soooo...what do you want?" I ask her what can be done and she rolled her eyes, shrugged her shoulders and said "you should've bought a longer one" as if I'm speaking to a completely different person. So I ask her since she's the "professional" piercer and this is what she does for a living why I wasn't advised better since I explained my situation to her from the first time I met her that my piercing was still fairly new. She's the one who showed me what to pick from for Christ's sake, there's no accountability for the issue. No "I'm sorry" or "maybe I heard wrong/misunderstood", just her ass to kiss. Then some heavyset black male interjects who wasn't even there the day of and they continue on this gaslighting spree and blaming everything on me (as if I'm the licensed one) when all I wanted was another jewelry change. I wasn't even asking for a refund. As far as tattoos go they may be alright but I would never go there for any kind of piercing. They don't care about aftercare or doing the right thing. They just want your money. Sad to see how things have gone downhill. @piercedbyliz on ig needs to be held accountable and fired immediately. These guys are great. So far they have helped me with my piercings when I couldn't get the jewelery in because of my nails. They were never rude like they couldn't do it. Devo and the other guy are gentlemen. I plan to get a considerable amount of work done here just for the fact that they helped me and are knowledgeable. Thank you guys. Update: Devo did a small tattoo for me and he is always so gentle. The last guys who did my other work not so much. I will give Chris some business as well although Devo will be doing my piercings and two other tattoos. Today I was in and out within 30 mins, mind you I did get a smaller tattoo, but I was immediately greeted when I walked in. No confusion on my appointment or tattoo. Everything was clean and sterile, I felt comfortable with my tattoo artist Chris immediately. He made sure my tattoo was placed evenly. Worst experience! My friend and I went here (while visiting Georgia) to get our Tragus pierced. Devo (piercer) didn't know what he was doing! He took almost 5 minutes to do the piercing, sent us both home with the wrong stud (one with a butterfly back). This made it super difficulty clean the pierced area, and a few days after I returned to Cali, the earring started sinking in. I went to another piercing spot, and they replaced the earring with one more suitable for the area (flat back). They told me Devo pierced me wrong and it was sitting at an angle which may extend my healing time. They weren't lying. 6 weeks later, I now have a big bubble in the inside of my ear right under the piercing. I've been doing warm sea salt water compresses, which have helped but if it doesn't heal, I'll have to put the earring out. My friend had the same experience with her piercing and it eventually fell out. Save your time, your money, and the pain! Go somewhere else! read more
