So when we became aware of various Membership Lots for sale , we reached out to one of the owners looking to sell his membership. We were referred to the volunteer Membership Chairperson who sent us an application and told us we would need to attend an interview with other member participants and sit through an orientation process to be sure we understood the campground rules and regulations and had reviewed the bylaws. The Membership Chairperson was very helpful communicating with us through the application process and being flexible with the scheduling of our membership interview. After our interview / orientation meeting was over we finalized the deal with the listing member and waited for all receipts to clear before our membership transferred hands. We had the opportunity to meet and visit with several members in the community. We found the various members to be very friendly and welcoming. We are looking forward to settling in for our first season of Paradise on the Plateau. The Membership Purchasing Application process is spelled out on the website, andthe contact information is readily available for the Membership Chair if you have any questions.

I spent some time in this Museum / Art Gallery and wished I had been able to spend more time here, it's a beautiful collection of early pieces, paintings, photographs and documents. I also had the honor to meet Monty, his enthusiasm, love and knowledge of the area is unbelievable, I wish I could of pulled up a chair and talked with him for hours. He did give me a brief history of the building that this museum occupies and some facts of the early days of McMinnville. The first entrance is for the pits or tier parking. The second entrance is for the grandstands. They have great concession stands that usually don't have long lines and are easy to get in and out of. I had no problem parking because I got there early as I didn't know this was central time zone. They first have the hot laps, then the heats and finally the feature races. Some of the type cars that race here are super stock, Late Models, sportsman, FWD, dwarfs, open wheels and Jr. FWD. They have their feature races last like most dirt tracks. The most popular is the Late Models of course but their feature race is not until last. Their schedule says 9:45 but that didn't happen. Anthony White won the crate late model race the day I visited it. He has a nick name the "Dirty White Boy" for some reason.
