Finding and retaining the right attorney for your case is no easy task and I hope that this review…read morecan help someone navigate this complex process. If you are looking for an attorney with years of experience in family court, wisdom, and integrity, then Scott is the right person for you. I have retained Scott in multiple situations (family-related), and he has always been very personal and approachable to my needs and questions. With Scott, be ready to hear how the law works and not how others (including yourself) think that it should be. Scott comes to you with over 30 years of experience and an education in behavior health (that can come in handy during family court litigation), and his knowledge of the law is not going to be sugarcoated. I recommend Scott 100%, hire him to take care of your legal needs. You won't be disappointed.

Hiring Russell Knight-mare was one of the worst decisions we have EVER made. Please avoid this…read moreunethical man at all costs. He lead us to believe we had a solid case, when ultimately, it was all a money grab on his part. He NEVER met with us in person (having done EVERYTHING over the phone), and he assured us that his services wouldn't come anywhere near his $5,000 retainer. We are located in Naples. At no time did he tell us that he lives in Chicago and had no intention of ever coming here. Our final bill was over $7,000!! We didn't hear from him for weeks and without telling us, he passed our case over to an associate, who, the day before court said, "We'll just throw everything up against the wall and see what sticks." When we LOST, the opposing side learned the verdict TWO DAYS BEFORE WE DID! We had to call him and ask what the heck was going on. He said he had no idea how they found out. It was a *^%# show at every turn. When I called and told him that I felt as though he had treated us like second class citizens, he declared, "I don't get hired to pay attention to client's feelings." Yes, he actually said that. I take some solace in being able to use this forum to share that little pearl with you. So much more I could unpack, but in summary, here's how Russell Knight's business card should read: Incompetent. Misleading. Unethical. Run, don't walk away from the mere thought of hiring this man.

He took my call, explained everything to me in plain english, and took over the case. Right away I felt that I have someone on my side, watching for my best interest. He was with me every step of the way. This was my first divorce (and I hope last), so I wasn't familiar with how the system works, and lost my patience few times. Even then, he stayed calm and understood my lack of patience. I can't say enough good things about him. Divorce is always a very stressful situation, but Cary definitely made it a lot easier for ne and I can't thank him enough.

My last attorney took complete advantage of me, over litigated my case, set me up for two mediations with no avail and depleted my savings account. I was lucky enough to have a family member step in and help me hire Cary Cliff who took my case a month before trial. He took one binder with him in the courtroom while my ex husbands attorney came in with 8. The man is an absolute beast in the court room and he means business. My case was settled in less than 4 hours, I didn't even have to testify. He is worth so much more than he even knows. In a matter of a month, he won my case and made headway where no other attorney could in 2 yrs. He is worth every penny and then some. He is compassion, intelligent, witty and professional. If you want the job done right and save money in the long run... hire Carry Cliff, he does what no body else can, and I know it sounds cliche but he does it with a smile. When you speak with him, he makes you feel comfortable like you're talking to a friend. He genuinely cares about his clients and their well being. He is a rock star in my book and I would not recommend anybody else. Remember me when you hire Carry Cliff, you won't regret that decision if you want to win and settle your case. I wish I would have know about him sooner, so I am giving you all a heads up! He is God sent and I wish him and his family more blessings than anyone can imagine!

When only the best will do…read more..... Unfortunately, divorces are a common byproduct of our modern living and blended extended families. When I was served with divorce papers I was lucky to have an attorney recommend Lisa P. Kirby, in Naples, FL, to navigate me through the difficult legal process. My divorce was complex in that it was a bicoastal filing in Florida while I resided in California. We had properties in both states as well as a host of other legal issues that needed to be addressed. Lisa's incomparable knowledge of the family law courts is amazing. She was able to outline the proper strategy with realistic expectations all while keeping me apprised of all the details throughout the preliminary stages. This was especially important since I did not actually meet Lisa until the day before trial. Lisa's trial demeanor is brilliant as it reveled her character and integrity. She skillfully covered each point and is well versed in case law, which she used throughout the trial. However, we were wholly ruled against by the trial Judge, The Honorable Joseph G. Foster, and Lisa was quick to say that we should appeal to the Second District Court. Thanks to her confidence and legal expertise we were successful in the Appellate Court with a reversal on a key property issue. The resulting ruling, Nelson v. Nelson, 189 So.3d 788 (Fla. Dist. Ct. App. 2016) is now apart of the Florida Case Law and has been written up in dozens of legal publications. This case is now used as the benchmark for family law and trust attorneys throughout the state. This process took 2.5 years to complete. I would not have traversed this legal maze successfully without the steadfast support of Lisa P. Kirby, the finest family law attorney in southern Florida.

Before contacting them, I strongly recommend that you check their negative reviews first and read what former clients have experienced. Do your research and make sure you understand the fees and billing before hiring them. In my experience, what I was told would cost less than $10,000 ended up costing me more than $40,000. My case went on for years, and the legal bills continued to increase. I felt financially drained, frustrated, and disappointed with how my case was handled. After spending more than $40,000, they eventually dropped my case. I later went to Men's Rights, and based on my personal experience, I saw more progress in less than a month than I had seen in years with Family First Legal Group. My advice: check the negative reviews first, ask questions about every fee, and make sure you fully understand the potential cost before hiring them. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this firm for a divorce case in the Fort Myers or Naples area.

And like any father with two children I played right into to it... needless to say I didn't show up for court thinking we were going to reunite I thought we were getting back together until I receive the paperwork in the mail saying that granted everything that she wanted plus $20,000 that we invested in a plumbing company that she kept... The reason I know all this is because a year and a half later Patricia called me crying and bawling and saying I'm so sorry I did that to you she recanted all the orders of protection for abuse saying that it never happened and she told me later that Miss Evans put the idea in her head for the order of protection I just wish I woulda called miss Evans first because she gets 5 stars in my book on how to screw your significant other!
