I…read morecame in wanting to get my cheeks filled because of loss of fat and my lips smoothed out to my original youth appearance. Dr. Kujok listened to all my concerns about my face and my wants and expectations. He carefully selected the proper fillers for my cheeks and lips. I was nervous because I had never had fillers before, but it was very comfortable. The Doctor kept me at ease letting me know what he was doing as he was doing it, which was great. Hardly felt anything, no pain. I had mild bruising for a couple of days which was great. The end result was a natural more symmetrical face and much improved marionettes lines. My lips look very natural and not over filled. Before they had a dry cracked more deflated look. Overall I am very happy with my results. I will be going back in the future for my touch ups. Highly recommend this place for fillers and aesthetic work!

Love this medication -- Santyl has been great for my wound care…read more As for the wound care clinic itself, I'm a little frustrated. What's the point of having an appointment time if you're consistently waiting 30 minutes to over an hour? On one visit, I waited about an hour just to get into a room and nearly three hours overall. The front desk team is always nice, patient, and understanding, and the CNAs are honestly the best. They've been kind, helpful, and compassionate throughout the process. My experience with some of the providers has been more mixed. They're generally decent, but around lunchtime I've felt very rushed, almost as though it's being made clear that my appointment is cutting into their lunch. During one visit, I was also spoken to pretty harshly for being on my phone, even though I had already been waiting for hours and had asked another staff member for permission to use it. I understand healthcare gets busy and delays happen, but patients' time matters too -- especially when we're already dealing with painful wounds and ongoing treatment. Great medication, wonderful front desk staff, and amazing CNAs. I just wish the scheduling, wait times, and overall bedside approach from some providers matched the quality of the rest of the team.

I'm mad. Lemme tell…read moreyou why: Dr. Abate was my doc for a couple of years. He was so super fantastic! He treated the whole person, not just the crude physical form. I feel sometimes he should have become a psychiatrist. When I was stressed out, and just couldn't deal with having a pap, he would just sit and talk with me. When I went in for a mole patrol, and was beside myself, crying, because I got dumped, or when my mom was sick, or whatever, he would just sit and talk with me. He never tried to cajole me into stop crying. He listened and gave advice and related to me. And he's wicked funny and down to earth. So, why am I mad, you ask? He's not in private practice anymore! However, if you are lucky enough to be admitted to Sutter General or Memorial, he may be your doctor as he is now part of the Hospitalist program there. Dang. I really felt lucky to have him as my doc.
