Computer superstore with a big range of software, hardware, peripherals, stationary etc. They are…read morenot always the cheapest: for example I buy ink for my ancient printer a lot cheaper on the web. But there are bargains to be had in software about to be upgraded or ex-display hardware. This store also runs a repair shop which has helped me before now. I've also found staff here to be good at giving advice, for example instructions on how to install new parts myself. One time I may have been sold the wrong part, but when it failed they refunded me no problem, even though I was slightly over the guarantee by that time. So, not always the cheapest, but dependable.

The staff was extremely helpful and was able to point me in the right direction for a data SIM card plus a top up on a dumb phone I'm borrowing. My wife and I went into Apple Store on Regent Street to collect wrist watches for my self and my…read morewife. This was a present for us from our daughter We were met by a young lady (her name was Sarah) in jeans with both her hands in her pocket. She kept her hands in her pocket all the while getting our watches and giving us a run down on the operation of these watches. She appeared least interested in looking after us. This is the most ill treatment we have received! I did not want to say anything for the fear of her not giving us the information we needed!

I recently purchased a MacBook Air for £1099 from Apple. A week later my water bottle leaked in my…read morebag and caused significant damage to the laptop. I had purchased AppleCare+ at the same time but yet have been given the run around for the last three weeks regarding my repair. They've advised that the part needed for the repair is out of stock, and that aside their repair quote came to £969.83. Surely Apple can offer me a brand-new replacement instead because I am covered by insurance right? Wrong. I'm expected to keep waiting on a repair while they wait for the part which could be months at this point (as well as being expected to pay £229 for the excess). Despite contacting Apple numerous times they have been unwilling to assist me further. What's worse is that Apple continues to sell MacBooks when they know they don't have the parts to repair them. This is extremely unethical. The staff at their Regent Street store dared to suggest I buy and return a MacBook every 14 days (no questions asked policy) until my repair has been completed. How does my Apple insurance help me here? It doesn't. And I am beyond outraged at this point. Just another company willingly taking advantage of their consumers without a care in the world.

They take the time to ensure you are completely satisfied and understand what needs to be done, why, and patiently explain everything in terms you can easily understand, even if you are not particularly tech savvy. Everyone is great, especially George who always goes the extra mile and has a fantastic friendly manner and style. We've also ordered replacement laptop batteries at substantial discounts vs buying from the manufacturer direct. Definitely worth the trip, plus they have a nice internet cafe & business centre, which is convenient and reasonably priced.

If you have an issue with your O2 things, just go there - this store is one of the few branches…read morewhere staff are competent, helpful and friendly. They helped me out more than once! I guess, we all have made our mixed experience with telecom companies. Dealing with support lines etc. was for me often a source of frustration and I try to avoid it. As it happened, I replaced my iPad with a brand new iPad Air. Unfortunately, Apple had decided to change the size of the SIM card, so I could not just continue using my existing SIM I bought at the Apple Store about two years ago with a tariff specifically for the iPad. After the online support chat was not too helpful, I walked into the O2 shop on Putney High Street. I should have known better. Once again, the customer service was appalling - they went so far to say that what I was asking for was not possible. And asking the customer to do the registration of the new Nano SIM on their own mobile phone, that does not even support Nano SIMs, is not really a clever move. Because I had similar experiences at the Fulham Broadway and the Putney High Street branches before, I decided to give O2 a last chance and the next Saturday, I walked down to the O2 shop at 134 Oxford Street. In the past, they were always friendly and competent. And once again, the customer service at this particular O2 branch was great. The guy was very friendly and efficient, he knew what he was doing, he was explaining the options and sorted everything out for me. Thanks only to him, I continue to use my O2 SIM with the iPad Air. It is really surprising, that mobile phone companies make it more difficult for customers to stay, than to change...
