Worst service ever. We booked a end-of-tenancy cleaning (160£ for a 50 square meter flat) and they did not finish the job. They did not clean our small balcony neither the winter garden. They stated that it was an extra service. I was never asked about if we had a balcony while booking the service or when the cleaner came home to "do" the work. We asked them to call us when they finished, but they didn't. We came some hours later to find that the flat was left open and nobody was there. On top of that and for our surprise, they left their garbage bag hidden inside a closet!!! When we called them to complain about the situation, they were confrontative and did not take responsibility. They pretended to charge for this "extra" balcony cleaning service 40£ more. We end up booking another company services to stop this SCAM. Please refrain from booking their services. They are scammers and bullies. read more

We employed the services of this company for an 'after builders clean'. The property was not sufficiently cleaned, air vents were dusty, blinds were dirty, light switches had not been cleaned and kitchen cupboards were dirty. Objects were found under the sofa and underneath the bed and bedside cabinets were sticky and dirty. I did not feel the property look like it had been freshly cleaned at all. The flooring had footprints on it and generally looked unclean. This property is a rental property and so it is not always possible to visit often. I contacted the company to advise of my dissatisfaction 9 days after the clean, but was told as I was outside of the 7 day guarantee that they could not deal with my query. I now have to employ a new cleaning company to clean again at an additional cost. read more

We recently had London Cleaning System do our End of Tenancy cleaning. To be honest, they had the cheapest quote among providers that we contacted and at the time, we were happy to use their services. We thought what could go wrong. This was a massive mistake. The cleaning job was far from perfect with many cleaning omissions. In addition, the chemicals used actually caused damage to bathroom fittings. The 7 day guarantee cleaning guarantee was a sham -- when we reached out to them to have cleaning omissions resolved, they were unresponsive over email. When contacted over phone, the guy named Ivan was not just unhelpful, he was downright rude! They were dismissive of our requests in a tone that was the polar opposite of courteous and failed to take into account photographic evidence of cleaning omissions. After constant back and forth and lack of resolution from London Cleaning System, we had to agree to deductions from our estate agent. I would not recommend using this service and pay a bit more to go for better cleaning providers. Would appreciate any advice on how to hold this company accountable? Booked an end of tenancy cleaning with this guys as their website comes first in Google search results. The cleaning team was super unprofessional and their "equipment" consists of a simple vacuum cleaner and some common detergents. They didn't clean windows sills, wipe vertical surfaces, floor lamps, pictures on the walls, second window glazing was not washed, kitchen walls were not degreased, cooker top was left as it was before, sofa was not vacuumed, etc. Basically, they just vacuumed and washed floors once and wiped some horizontal surfaces. I paid extra 10 pounds per each window blind and they just literally vacuumed them and that's it! AVOID AT ALL COSTS. read more

Horrible experience with London Cleaning System! Their estimation for the cleaning was 2-4 hrs for our 3 bedroom flat but, they sent just 1 person. She was late for almost 2 hrs. She would have been there at 8:00am. Her arriving time was 9:35am. They toppled our console table and damaged it. And the most horrible thing is the cleaner woman shouted at my kind and polite wife. AND THEN her office manager shouted at my kind and polite wife on the phone. It's really unbelievable! They are denying to pay the cost because of the damage. They blame our carpenter. Hiring LCS to clean your flat is like Brexit - alcohol made it seem like a good idea, wasn't really worth it, and is now something you absolutely regret. Or maybe that was going home with your mate's girlfriend... Regardless of which of those it is - LCS is a disaster. Avoid at all costs. I hired LCS once. They 1) didn't show up and 2) once they did show up, one of their cleaners walked away with our keys for a week. Resulted in me taking a financial penalty from my agency. Awful service from start to finish! Cash in hand so can't even complain via PayPal or a bank. Didn't follow their own suggested cleaning list for end of tenancy cleaning, had to book a re-clean, on the morning of the re-clean the cleaner called and said she's not coming... After a massive argument, she eventually came making me wait for 1.5 hours and then I had to go and point every corner that needs cleaning when they have a full list published on their own website. Left half-way through the re-clean after I refused to pay more money for a service I already paid for. In the end, had to pay the agency to get a proper cleaning service because this one was absolute rubbish!!!!! read more

This company has stolen from me. I booked an end of tenancy clean and on the day of the appointment chased them up to see where the cleaners were. I was told that due to an accident all jobs were cancelled and to find someone else. I then emailed the company to ask for my deposit back and heard nothing. A further call to their company where I spoke to someone who didn't recall last week's conversation and if I wanted to take legal action then so be it. This company is a scam. Stay away! read more

Terrible experience. Hired LCS for an end-of-tenancy clear and was told to book an entire morning as the cleaning would take 4 hours, the cleaners were there for less than 2. The carpet was cleaned but without moving any furniture so still has dry and dirty patches, and several areas were still dusty and despite the check-list including 'upholstery vacuumed' this wasn't done. After losing part of my deposit London Cleaning System are refusing to honor their "guarantee" of a deposit return. Avoid at all costs. read more

They arrived 8 hours late for an end of tenancy cleaning with no valid reason; took the first opportunity of us leaving briefly the flat to leave with the cleaning completely unfinished and the door to our flat wide open. They refused to take our call and when we finally spoke to Ivan, he said the cleaning was not fully guaranteed, when we had booked for a 7 days guaranteed service. My husband and I had to spend 5 hours actively cleaning to flat as we were pressed for time given the checkout was the next day at 9AM. DO NOT USE THIS 'COMPANY'. IF I COULD HAVE GIVEN THEM ZERO STARS I WOULD HAVE DONE. I say 'company' as their Companies House record shows they are in the process of being struck off the records. I enlisted the services of London Cleaning System to clean my one bedroom flat in London as they claimed to have a deposit back guaranteed on their website - LIE #1. On the day of the clean, which was scheduled for 9am, the cleaners collected the keys some 6 hours later. I was informed by the Operations Manager, on numerous occasions, that they were 'half an hour away' and were stuck in traffic. The job was completed in 90 minutes, far too quick for a supposed 'deep clean' of a one bedroom flat. During the end of tenancy checkout, it was noted that areas such as the oven had not been cleaned properly and that I was to instruct a re-clean. Additionally, the cleaners had BROKEN the toilet seat in the property and had conveniently disposed of the broken pieces. I hadn't considered a re-clean to be an issue, given the free re-cleans policy on their website and the fact that I was well within the 7 day time period. I also asked for a refund to cover the damages made to the property. The clean was 'arranged' for 2pm one afternoon and the cleaners did not turn up AT ALL. I received a text stating that the keys had been picked up and the cleaners were at the property, this was a complete LIE as they had to pick up the keys from the managing estate agent. I sent numerous emails and made numerous calls with no response and then finally got through to the Operations Manager who assured me that the cleaners were on the way and had been held up in traffic (this was 24 hours later). AGAIN, THEY DIDN'T TURN UP. Having managed to get through to the owner I was assured that the cleaners would attend first thing Monday morning. On Monday I received an email stating that they would NOT BE RE-CLEANING the property and that they had done a good job first time around. Additionally, they WOULD NOT ACCEPT LIABILITY for the broken toilet seat. To this day, they have still shown zero interest in putting the situation right and have IGNORED ALL CORRESPONDENCE. I am now faced with a re-clean and am having to pay for a contractor to fix the damaged goods which is COSTING ME HUNDREDS. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I booked an end of tenancy clean on 22 May 2018 for 31 May 2018 at 8am. On 30 May 2018 the company contacted me by email to say it had to move the appointment to 4pm on 31 May 2018 because they had "lost a team of cleaners". I said that would be ok, as long as they showed up. Guess what? No-one showed up and my tenancy checkout was for 1 June 2018 at 10am. The number on the company's website and emails did not work (disconnected due to non-payment?) and no-one called me at all. I emailed the company at 16:10. No answer. What a mess!! I booked their services with the owner. Everything was agreed and they were supposed to turn up at 7am. Our check-out was at 10:30 and we had to have the flat clean. Not only did they not turn up, they did not let us know anything and the useless owner called Philip would not even respond to my call. We have had the worst possible experience with London Cleaning System. Choosing LCS to do our end-of-tenancy cleaning has resulted in a direct financial loss to ourselves (the departing tenants), and huge inconvenience to the new tenants. The details: we booked an end-of-tenancy cleaning for 9am on Monday, as the new tenants were arriving that afternoon. By lunchtime, the cleaner had still not turned up, and LCS head office were completely unable to tell us when the cleaner might arrive, or even whether he would turn up that day at all. The cleaner eventually turned up the following day (more than 24 hours late), causing great inconvenience to the new tenants, who had already moved all their things in. The cleaner then failed to return the key to the letting agent as agreed (obviously causing concern to both landlord and new tenants) and only after repeated chasing from us eventually returned the key a full six days later. Throughout, LCS head office was completely unable to provide us with any information about what was going on; whether or not the cleaning had even taken place; and where the key was. As a result, we (the departing tenants) have had a significant amount of money deducted from our deposit, which LCS have refused to refund, despite the fact that we have suffered financial loss as a direct result of their incompetence. read more

The website gives the impression that they cover cleaning of everything, not only is this this not the case but the attendant was incredibly rude. I hired them to make "end of tenancy cleaning with steam carpet cleaning" for 1st of July @ 8 pm for a 4 bed house in Fulham. Even though they did not quote the cheapest price, I decided to continue with them as they seem professionals. However, they were not.... I should also mention that the checkout firm has been booked for inventory and cleaning check at 4 o'clock same day. Someone came at 8:45, 45 minutes delay. He said their car was broken down and his collegues will be arriving in an hour. I did not make this problem and I paid GBP 275 as agreed before. I left them the keys, and left the house. At 4pm, I came back home to let in check out company. First thing I noticed was all wooden floors were wet. They should have finished the job 5 hours ago, it should have been dried already if it was cleaned properly. We quickly took the meter reading with the lady and I left. An hour later, I received text and phone call from the house management company that the cleaning were not in standard, and they will put emergency cleaning the next morning before the new tenants. I was around the area, I got back there again, she showed the problems one by one, by telling me that the cleaning done way below the standards: 1) There was hairs and stains in the sinks and taps. 2) Wooden floors were wet 3) Stains and dirt on toilet, your guys didn't even bother using a brush. Stains on the toilet cap connection parts, green and dirty. 4) There were burnt inside the oven, i could have done myself better. Haven't cleaned properly. 5) Fridges were vet. 6) One of the freezers were not defrosted. 7) There were black dirt and moth inside the washing machine lid seal. 8) Detergent box of the washing machine has not been cleaned properly. They probably made the cleaning with the person arrived in the morning! It was almost 5pm and she said if I could not sort that before she leave, the cost would be reflected from my tenancy deposit. So, I went to Tesco, I bought bleach, brush etc, and try to finish everything in around an hour and a hour. I did it all by myself. I called them on Monday and told them the problems. Asked for partial refund, GBP 100. They said they will investigate. I forwarded them, text and emails, and check out report. I gave them the check-out company's contact details etc. They ignored...kept ignoring. They finally came to a decision. They accepted the problems but, if I called them on Friday evening, theysaid they could had sorted out that problems. They said they have 7 days guarantee. They came to the property 45 minutes late with 1 person, did not complete the job, and telling me that they could have cleaned again on Friday evening before the check out lady leaves. What a trustworthy company!!! End of tenancy cleaning means that the cleaning made at the end of tenancy. I cannot keep the house another 7 days that they could make the cleaning again, house costs GBP 800. It is just non-sense. They are professional on taking the money but not in the rest. Awful company, do not use them! We booked end of tenancy cleaning on the day we were due to fly out. They were due at 12pm and after 2 calls where we were told their van broke down, they finally arrived at 4pm! They turned up with no materials and wanted a key! We had to call on a neighbour as we were not about to give keys to strangers. They were not going to give a receipt for our cash payment except we insisted. We almost missed our flight with all this and then we hear from our landlord that the job was awful, the floors weren't even cleaned, etc. Never use this company. read more

I pay for their service of '' end of tenancy cleaning''. It cost me £220 for the 3-bedroom flat, including the tips that I did not want to give them even 1p. They left with part of floor(dining room) uncleaned, every corner of the flat(bedroom, kitchen, toilet) is dirty. The leader yelled at me that they cannot guarantee the full refund because the shelf is not ready for them to clean, which I just did not throw all the books away in time. What a funny reason. The The company I hate most is the one that keep finding excuses to not obey their '' guarantee full refund of the deposit'' promises. London Cleaning System is that company! When I needed help, they did not give me a hand. And when they saw me falling from the floor, they just laughed so loudly that I can hear down stairs. Except their disappointing services, they do not even have any humanity. I will not recommend this company to anyone. I even tell my classmates who are looking for cleaning company not to choose this company. I used to hire some individual cleaners to do the end of tenancy cleaning.
