I spent a lovely Sunday afternoon here, it's stylish and quirky.
The staff were very helpful and friendly and greeted us immediately when we walked in, they were busy as it was Mother's Day but still managed to find us a table after re-gigging tables. Only downfall is the place is a little small.
The cocktails looked amazing I didn't sample any but will definitely be sampling on my return.
We chose to have lunch here and even though the menu doesn't have a massive choice it's fresh and of high standard.
I chose the pie of the day with chips , it's wasntva real pie more like chicken and bacon in cream sauce with puff pastry on top but was very very tasty, we had chips also which again tasted lush.
I must say though looking at the sharing platers I will be trying there fish one soon looked fab! Nice home made deserts also.
Would go again soon next time I am in tynemouth and sample some cocktails!! Great place!! read more
