Every Equine here is a rescue & each one has a story of healing & recovery. Something close to the heart of Princess Muddypaws (my rescue dog) as she is a rescue herself. One of the miniature horses Ruby, had come from a situation where she wasn't getting properly fed, but now she is flourishing & eating her hay as she's groomed on this beautiful September day. Ruby has a beautiful mane of hair. I learned with hanging with the Herd that your heart will sync to the beat of the horses heart. You can heal your heart with the horses & take those mending strides of recovery. Hanging with the Herd is free the first Friday of every month for adults, but you do need to register for the event. They are expecting a new horse today a Palomino, who's name is Nevaeh, heaven spelled backwards. Stop what you are doing and contact Venus. If you are questioning if you should talk to her, the…read moreanswer is yes. After both of my girls, I struggled HARD. Postpartum depression is very real and very scary but with Venus' help I am in a much better place than I have ever been. With COVID it makes things a little tricky but it's awesome to be able to chat with her virtually right now and still get the help I need even with the world in the state it is. Like I said, give them a call. I promise, she'll change your life.

I canceled ONE appointment on August 24 because I was sick with severe nausea and a migraine. I…read moreemailed my therapist, she responded that same day acknowledging I was ill, and I never returned to the practice after that appointment. Despite this, I was charged THREE separate $100 cancellation fees -- $300 for ONE cancellation. I contacted the office immediately after the first charge, explained the situation and the financial hardship it caused, and asked for it to be addressed. The original $100 should have been refunded. Instead, I was charged another $200. I have dated emails and billing records documenting everything. What is most disturbing is the lack of compassion, accountability, and ethical treatment from a mental health counseling center. People seek counseling during vulnerable and stressful times. Being charged $300 for one cancellation after notifying my therapist that I was sick only added significant financial and emotional stress. I expected far better from a mental health provider and strongly recommend that patients carefully monitor any card kept on file with this practice.
