The most notable quality from him is that he goes out of his way to make sure you get a good deal when getting replacement keys **as long as you're willing to put in the effort.** For the least amount of hassle, you will be encouraged to buy your own key blanks online, then you can go to him and he will cut your keys and program key fobs for a flat rate fee. What normally would cost me $250-$300 for ONE modern key at a dealership, only costs me less than $200 for THREE car keys and fobs. Disclaimer: Its not guaranteed you will be paying $200, but it can go WAY LESS than what I paid because it depends on what kind of key blanks you buy online. Note that the price I'm mentioning is combining the keys I bought from a separate vendor online, and his programing/cutting services. Just be patient and talk to him if you have any particular questions pertaining to his services. I had zero issues from the last 5 times I reached out whether its key programming or cutting. Most of my experience is automotive related, so I can't say much about unlocking my house. He's now my go-to locksmith given the consistency.

He arrived about 30 minutes after we hung up, he located the problem, told us he could fix it and told us the cost. We agreed to the cost and Mike went to work. Our A/C was fixed and running in about 2 hours from the time I made the call. After hours, Friday evening, and my front door dead bolt disintegrated when I inserted the key: the cylinder actually fell out into my hand, along with the shards of broken metal that was formerly its internal locking mechanism. 20 minutes later, Logan Southerland (Logan's Locksmith, Inc., automobiles as well as residential -- 910-257-2019) was at my door fixing the problem and answering all my questions. I got locked out of my car today at 12:30pm, and was back inside my car by 1:20pm. I can't remember the name of the guy who helped me (I know it wasn't Logan himself) but he was quick, professional, and drove all the way from Hope Mills to help me.
