I've had my haircut at Mark Harris on Newbury St, Flip in Milton, Shag in Southie, 18|8 in Westwood... you get it. I had a fairly important meeting this afternoon and was desperate for a trim, I went on Facebook and looked at Milton's neighborhood Facebook group "Milton Neighbors" and asked for recommendations for a barber shop nearby as I couldn't get an appointment where I have been going on such short notice. Almost every recommendation was for Smitty's. I came in around 3pm today, busy but plenty of room. The shop is clean and modern, the TVs are huge, and of course the barbers are awesome! Jake gave me the best haircut I've had since when I worked in Back Bay. Great fade, perfect trim on top all scissors, and a real neck shave with a straight razor! I didn't see any products on display in the front, I wish they did! I'd take their recommendations to the bank.
