Just wanted to give my opinion on this company and their current situation. I have given a bad review earlier this year, however the circumstances have now changed since and I would like to give a positive feedback now and here is why.
Please note that this company just recently got a new management team (as of October/ November last year) and any orders and issues that were passed on to this new team is what these guys are now trying their best to sort these out for all of their customers, including myself.
My own feedback is, I would not be blaming them tbh, as due to the hard times of this Covid-19 situation, and also there currently massive supply shortages on all of the materials (be it timber, PVC, steel etc.) which is mainly due to Brexit, the Channel blockage that occurred a little while ago, etc., all of these doesn't help these new management team at all. And I understand this. One comment to these guys is, please be more transparent with your customers and please explain all of these complications and issues/delays on the day when users are ordering/placing an order for their product/log cabin. Please be as transparent as possible with customers, so that the decision on placing the order or not can be made then, based on the circumstances of the current situation.
Anyhow, these guys do get back to all of their customers and I am one of these customers, as I've placed the order of my 6x4 Derry Log Cabin and have it in place now (receive this as a kit without a door and Windows and just did the installation by myself (took me 1 full week to do this from top to bottom (again 1 man work) (with 50mm insulation under flooring and the roof (warm roof style in my case) and have put my own metal roofing (Forma Tile LP panels (Powder Coat finish) that is suitable for low pitch roofs (greater than 5 degrees and above). You can do a google search and the website will be given to you on the top of the search. I don't want to advertise this here, as I am not sure if this is allowed or not.
Anyhow, I have waited for the timber kit (again without windows and doors) for around 10-12 weeks. And have this now in place and I'm only missing now the windows and a door. And have then decided to get the windows and a door of this company (i.e. of the logcabin4less) and have placed the order and currently still waiting on the delivery, as I've chosen the black material for the frame, which takes their supplier (i.e. this supplier who are based in Ireland, gets their frames from Germany and they in turn get the foil for the frame from China. As you can see, there is a whole supply chain for the doors and windows) so this takes much longer to develop. Therefore my advice here is, if you are ordering your Log cabin with logcabin4less company, as a whole unit (i.e. with doors and windows) please be aware that the White and Grey frames are the only two colors that they (logcabin4less) can get reliably and any other colors, these can be provided too, however please expect delays on these!
I wasn't aware of this (missed that point) and this now caused me this long delay on getting my door and windows, to complete my project fully. I was told this is going to be delivered to me next week, so let's hope and see how this goes.
Please be aware that I am not working for this company and I'm one of their customers and the above is my own opinion that you may or may not find useful. However, I hope this helps you too, in case you are reading all of the reviews that seems to be more negative at the minute, than positive. In longer time frame, I am reliably confident that this new management team can catch up with all of the backlogs they have at the moment and to get up to the speed with full steam up on the success of their business.
