Upon arrival the gentleman at the door asked for a card which we didn't have (being tourists from Canada) but we were able to twist his arm to let us in ;) He was kind enough to give us a run down of the different rooms and let us look around for a few moments. When we were ready for a drink, we went into the room with the bar. The shelves featuring all the alcohol bottles was impressive and beautiful. The bartender asked us what kinds of flavours and profiles we enjoy in a cocktail. He made a very delicious Old Fashioned with homemade bitters and another drink with kiwi which was amazing. I wish I could remember his name because from entering this establishment to leaving, he was charismatic, friendly and helpful to recommending spots in other cities we were going to. This was an ultimate speakeasy experience for me. No storefront, super hidden, quiet, exclusive, and the best cocktails I've ever had. Time and effort went into crafting each one. The history of "Zamieszanie" is definitely something quite extraordinary. The bar itself is on the ground level of the massive office a ot the former Polish United Workers Party, an authoritarian communist party that reigned over Poland for almost five decades. After the collapse of the communism in Cental and Eastern Europe the building itself became the heart of Polish capitalism - a trading floor of the newly-born first Warsaw stock exchange in the contemporary history. When sipping drinks in "Zamieszanie" you can easily feel the disturbing, yet exciting thrill of being both Gordon Gekko and Chairman Gorbachev at the same time. The drinks list constists of a mix of innovative as well as traditional options. I'm not a huge cocktail guy and don't want to pretend to be any expert in that field, however I can honestly say that I liked what i drunk there. The place is located in a modern glass cube and so offers nice views of outside Al. Jerozolimskie. You can try everything they have on the menu before buying and the choices are quite varied and original. The cocktail menu features the strong 'baubles' which are short drink type of mixtures encapsulated in pretty round bottles straight from the alchemist's workshop. The 'bottles' are pre made on site and feature a lighter version of usually sweeter and more approachable drinks with original names and ingredients. I will just say that one of them features bananas, caramel and rum with a pischinger wafer topping but they also have a gingerbread beer one as well as mango lassi based concoction so you will for sure find something for your particular taste. Their on tap options feature prosecco and about 5 other cocktails including an interesting mix of cherry chocolate and chilli. The drinks chance seasonally and oh, did I mention they have pizza too? To top it off, the prices are quite good for what you are getting so you wont break the bank. Highly recommend!

It was relatively quiet given that I had an 8am flight (I was there around 7:15am). Bolero offered hot food offerings for breakfast, which includes sausage, frittata and pancakes. Food was actually pretty tasty. There was a wide selection of non alcoholic and alcoholic drinks. Non alcoholic drinks were single-serve. Other amenities include clean bathrooms and shower facilities. Didn't use the shower facility while at the lounge. If I'm ever back in Warsaw, I'll definitely stop by here to pass time (assuming I have access to the lounge). Dziękuję!
