It's a quick walk to the Palais, centralized location for just about anything, and it's very clean. Service is great as well, everyone here was very friendly and helpful with my misuse of their wonderful language. Rooms are very European (small-ish, no surprise) but clean and perfectly functional. Free wifi is a nice touch, but it's a bit hit-or-miss with the connection near the upper floors. Terrace on the roof is a deal-maker all by itself. Very cool. Mini bar, flat screen TV, heater in bathroom, room lights at arm's reach from bed. Nice. Breakfast is short and sweet - great coffee, croissants and baguettes, with options for cereal, fruit, yogurt, assorted sweet breads and sliced meats (?). The ladies here are super pleasant, and make early mornings very tolerable, even with jet-lag. Having only been to Cannes once, I can't speak to the other hotels in the area, but having traveled enough I must say - this is a great place, if you want the best quality in location, price and services. The Hotel is very small, the hallways are narrow the elevator is tiny and the rooms are small as well. I was there for one night and found it to be a great experience. I was by myself and literally just needed a place to sleep. Staff was very friendly and super helpful. I have nothing bad to say about the Hotel. Just be prepared for its size which is not abnormal for France.

We had the "soleil" chambre and it was so clean, spacious, and comfortable. The entire house is a typical provençal type home (a bastide i believe its called). The petit déjeuner was INCREDIBLE, something for everyone. Bernadette was attentif to the fact that i have an intelorence to cow milk and had so many wonderful optipns for me! We were so full! The garden in which we ate was lovely, but come prepared, there were ALOT of mosquitos! I really appreciated this experience which was out of the ordinary from "airbnb" or just a simple hotel. We got to talk to someone from Grasse who also knew alot about the rest of the provence region (and even the US !). Bernadette had the BEST reccomendations as well! We ate at l'auberge provençal and visited Le Pays D'Audrey, a flower domain where we learned the many ways flowers are used in food and perfume ! Bref, my bf and i HIGHLY reccomend staying here!
