Previous to living in Belmont shore I went to another chiropractor in my hometown of Corona. At that place they were all about volume. Get you in and out in under 10 minutes so they could see the next person. That is all that they cared about. Dr. Spiess has a different approach. He doesn't monitor his Yelp reviews or ask you to leave feedback. Truth is, he doesn't really care how the internet perceives things. He knows that by word of mouth, he will gain new patients. I got lucky and found him under my providers list for Chiropractic care. From the first appointment forward, I knew he cared. I had really good insurance which covered the 30 minute appointment. Even if you don't have insurance that will cover it, seeing him once a month for the cash amount is completely worth it. I walked out every time feeling way better, and cannot state how much I love this man for getting me straightened out.

Not a "pop and go" adjustment, like some do. You don't need to see him 3 times a week for 12 weeks like other chiropractors will tell you. His adjustments are very effective and seem to stay in place longer. If you have pain or health issues, go see him. I'm an Acupuncturist and I love Eastern Medicine, but Dr Spiess is the only Chiropractor I'll let adjust me. I have complete confidence in his work. Thanks Dr Spiess.

He knows all sort of techniques and will use what's best for you, unlike the crack quack I use to go to. He like sci fi, too! Even the receptionist is cool. (Shout out to Crystal. Woot, woot!) However, after having hip and back pain for 6 months, when a friend told me he's seen Dr Steve for years I thought I might take a chance. Dr Steve is a very kind man, I told him how nervous I was and he talked WITH me, not at me, explaining everything which was going to happen. I have to tell you even more honestly, when we got to the adjustment part, it was NOTHING like all those crazy things you hear about! As a matter of fact, I thought to myself- I don't really see how this is going to help, it doesn't seem like he's doing much? After a few moments he told me we were done for today and I could get up. He let's you know where you are out of alignment before you usually say anything. He makes sure to take his time, and answer any of your questions/concerns and does the best he can to get you feeling better. I never leave my appointment feeling horrible, because if you don't feel right, you say something and he makes it better. My wife and I go every 6 weeks for maintenance, but before we got to that point it was a more regular visit starting weekly, and then moving out. I can definitely tell when it is getting close to when I need to be adjusted as things feel really out of line. The office is always clean, smells great as there is a massage therapist on site as well, and there is another chiropractor named Dr. Tony. The receptionist Amy is fantastic, and overall they feel like family/friends and not going to the doctors. If you have a flare up they will do their best to get you into the office to see the doctor. Before you start with getting adjusted they either get x-rays in the office or have you go get some so he knows exactly what is going on before doing anything.
