Well, they do use only…read moreflour, butter, salt and sugar to make their delicious cookies, so it tastes much better than others made with a load of other ingredients. We were therefore very excited when we randomly came upon this shop during our stay in Elgin. Turns out the factory is nearby, so this is an outlet. We found the varieties we are used to seeing, such as the regular one and the ones shaped like a terrier, but also a lot of varieties we haven't seen before, like ginger flavored one. But one thing you MUST buy when you are there. They have a delicious fruit cake made with Glenfiddich 12 year whisky. It's rich and moist with a hint of booze. Get the big one as the small one tastes a bit dryer. They have a section where they sell some of the less-than-perfect products without the packaging. You get a big bag of shortbread at an awesome. The fruit cake is an even better bargain, and without the tin can, is a lot more travel friendly.

We passed by this on our way to cross the bridge to Johnston's Wool. It's a ruin but still very…read morebeautiful. Feel *free* to stroll around the ground, or if you are a history buff, pay the admission for more info and closer look. The cathedral has been around since the 12th century! This is right next to the train station and we stopped off here to kill some time before our train…read more it is a small mall, relatively speaking, and has a decent selection of stores. They had a KFC and Burger King which we avoided given that we get enough of that back home. The initial plan was to do some window shopping but we ended up getting a snack and some clothes.

It combines the old with the new seamlessly and has the best selection of shops around. If it's raining, you can get everything you need in here without even stepping foot outside. Heck, if it's blazing sunshine you won't have to step outside. They have every shop you could possibly want in here - new look, french connection, office, Zara, schuh, debenhams, gap and many more. The centre itself is really nice and welcoming and always had a nice atmosphere. There is never any groups of teenage goths standing around either - which I always thought came any shopping centre. The food court is good too, although there could be more seats. They have pizzas, burgers, salads and sandwiches. It's a lovely and clean environment, if I want to go shopping when I'm home I always come here.
