Avoid Lockaid at all costs. This company came to install a…read moresecurity grill and door. The service was appalling. The manager of Lockaid, Jerry, threatened to walk off the job leaving me open to a London street in the evening with no door or door frame. This was because I complained that he was fitting a cheap interior door, rather than a solid-core external door as agreed (and paid for in advance!). Jerry behaved totally unprofessionally. He repeatedly tried to extort more money from us, in order to do the job properly as originally agreed. My opinion: Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!

He was the most miserable individual I have met in a long time and was fixated with the price of the job even though I was locked in and quite distressed.He gave me the quote from the other side of the door , so I had little choice but to accept it. He said I would need to pay him £200 for the job as he had to drill the handle .it took 5 minutes and he had no interest in the fact that I was upset having been locked in for 4 hours in very hot temperatures and also being quite unwell at the time. This is not the normal kind of service I have experienced from this company in the past , they are usually kind and very helpful. This man had no customer focus only money and seemed to have had a personality bypass ?? Not a good look for the company at all.

Two of those times, they've gone above and beyond, in terms of service...not to tick boxes, but out of simple human decency and a desire to help.
