Plus the facility operator was excellent with helping on setups and ideas. The lighting was perfect. My only hiccup was how damn hot it gets in there!!! lol gotta keep those fans blow full swing to counter that heat.. other than that it's pretty perfect. You can fit about two cars in there comfortably nothin more. There seating, water and a mini fridge on hand in case they're needed. I recommend this spot to anyone looking for good rates and help on filming location with complete studio setups available. Definitely a must rent.

They all worked on the card and the results blew me away. I wanted to be able to keep it and look at it forever, but it was fragile and needed expert framing. A friend suggested Artistic Edge, and the rest is history. Jessica spent the best part of an hour with me going over all the various possibilities. The color of the frame, the size, the matting, the various parts next to each other, the weight of what would be the final product. She acted like I was the only person of importance throughout all of this back-and-forth as I changed my mind over and over. Finally I was ready, and she said that it would be ready by X amount of time --- probably a bit sooner. Off I went. WEEKS before the date promised Kathy called and said the artwork was ready. When I arrived and saw it displayed I cried --- it was exactly what I wanted and ever so much more! Kathy talked to me --- and LISTENED --- as though I was the most important person in the world at that moment --- I told her all about who made the sticker card artwork and when and why, and she just listened and smiled and chatted and was wonderful. I took my artwork home, hung it up, and took pictures for all the sticker artists to enjoy. Everything has come out perfectly! This is a beautiful, meaningful, lovely piece of art, in the absolutely perfect frame. Artistic Edge did an awesome job --- they respected the artwork, they respected me, they threw their artistic talents into this, and I feel that at the same time they got a kick out of doing it. We all of us have beautiful, meaningful artistic treasures hanging around our homes. I can promise you that if you bring them in, Artistic Edge will give them glory in a whole new dimension! It's a tough ride going home as you hit rush hour traffic. The commute time nearly doubles going home. It's a real commitment to come to these classes. When you arrive another class (Open Figure Drawing Studio, no instructor is included in the class) is letting out so depending on how early you arrive there will be more or less parking. They have a private lot and you will always find a parking space even if you have to park on the street. Carol Hawkins teaches a monthly painting with paper class. I also believe she teaches a biweekly acrylic class on Saturdays. If you are interested in any of these classes just contact the Sacramento Fine Arts Center for a schedule. The painting with paper class is $75 (Check or Cash) and includes all the supplies. As you can see from the below picture she draws out the design so you don't start with a complete blank canvas. She walks you step by step on how to complete your painting. I've been attending her class for a few years and really enjoy the classes. I can't always make them as I can't always get the time off from work and due to I work full time I have to take time off to attend the class. These classes are fast paced so you need to be prepared for this. There is no messing around. I've been lucky and have been able to finish all of my paintings in the time limit and sometimes I can even leave with a done painting 30 minutes early. Now it won't be dry in that time limit, but it dries in my car and in my house. Not everyone is so Lucky. I'd be so sad if I weren't able to finish my paining. I definitely am not one to finish a project at home as wouldn't have the needed supplies. She is good at being a timekeeper and gives you count downs as to how much time you have left. She will also go around and help you if you need it. I need the most help when it comes to adding the acrylic parts to the paintings. I'm not the best painters so. I need the extra assistance. I'm more of a fan of the all paper classes where paint isn't involved. Once you get on her mailing list she will send you out reminders about upcoming classes and show you what the project is for that time. She asks for RSVPs around a week or two in advance. By then I usually can tell her if I got the time off work or not. And I should note that it was 102 the day of our last class and the AC was blasting. I always have that concern that their AC won't be working that day and I would have driven all the way out there to be miserable. So far my fear hasn't come true.

Once I start doing more business in Sacramento, I'll definitely start looking into picking up one of their virtual office plans which includes phone service with a live receptionist, use of their business address and even conference room hours! They also have virtual office plans as simple as just a business address. I really don't understand why some folks use a PO Box as their business address, when they can have a prestigious business address at a really affordable cost! Not only do they offer virtual office plans, but they also rent out office space here! They do it all! I have met a lot of different professionals here who rent an office space on site. Most of them used to work from home offices and have said their experience here has been so much better than working from home. It think everyone really appreciates the professional atmosphere that they offer! The friendly and personable staff here is what I really love. They provide such great customer service and they're very knowledgeable about what they do. Every time I am unable to print from my laptop or need assistance with simple admin work, they're always there to help!
