Cesilie, We came in late and the clock had already started but my daughter and her friend Madison wanted to show us what it was about and they were hilarious. (Running Around like chickens with their heads cut off LMBO so entertaining) Great puzzles, great clues, just a whole lot of fun. Odds are you will not get out but that's the point, work together as a team and have fun and go back again. I Enjoyed the heck out of it and she let us a have a few more minutes, I do not have any pictures past the front door for obvious reasons, but hey give it a shot. I've done dozens of escape rooms in different places around the country and Locked holds its own. Pricing is comparable to other escape rooms. Variety of puzzles and methods used in the different rooms. Done all the rooms and love them all. Can't wait for the new one! If you haven't done an escape room, I'd recommend mostly adults. Appropriate for teenagers. Younger kids would probably be confused and bored. Tons of fun and something different to do with friends and family! read more

I had a hard time finding things to do with my kids during thanksgiving week during a pandemic. I emailed locked Manhattan to ask if this was kid friendly. They responded promptly, and we bought tickets online. Directions took us right to the door but it wasn't too clear where to go until we got out and saw the interior signage. That's why I attached that pic. Once inside the staff was super friendly. The escape room was challenging, but with the use of our free hints we made it all the way to the last lock before time ran out. Keep in mind that it was 1 adult with a 13, 9, and 7 year old. I highly recommend this for any age, but I think it would be the most fun for my teenager and her friends. read more

This is my second escape room experience. We were a group of three and did the Witching Room. Although the room was code heavy it was quite fun and I would recommend Locked and escape rooms in general to anyone who likes puzzles and working as a team. Locked will create a memory for you and your teammates. I will be going back again in a few months. For those that a curious, we did not beat the room, but that is part of the allure. If the rooms were easy you would not get your money's worth. read more

Good place to stop while in town of you're into this kinda puzzle solving thing. Bring some friends you definatly need more than one mind to make it through the different rooms. With in walking distance from the local hotels if you're just here for a few days. Good experience. read more

I had never done an escape room challenge but have heard of these recently as they are popping up everywhere. It is really cool to have something like this here. Eric R. thought this would be a great idea while we hosted 4 friends visiting from Texas. The 6 of us booked online in advance and struggled initially to find it (the address is 122A not 116, so we kept walking past it). Zach greeted us, gave us the rules and story, and showed us the lockers for our stuff. Once we were in the room, it was go time. I had no idea what to expect but ended up having a really good time. Now we just have to wait until another room and set of challenges are built to try this again here, but I admit I was surprised that I could contribute so much to my group! That was a good feeling. I definitely recommend trying this out with a few friends. read more

LOVED the experiences I have had here! The rooms are exciting and keep you thinking the entire time. I have tried the Witching Hour and Leonardo's Last with groups of 2 and 3 - definitely took the entire hour with fewer minds. This place is a hidden gem. I have completed over 60 escape rooms at this point, and these rooms rank up there with the best of them. My group and I had SO MUCH FUN doing three of the rooms here (Witching Hour, The Dalton Plan, and The Dinner Party). All three rooms so well designed and built with puzzles to stump but also satisfy. The things you had to do were very intuitive and we yelled and laughed our way through the whole thing. And we were the first team of 4 to ever break out of The Dalton Plan!! Jessica and Joshua were amazing with their hospitality and generosity. Definitely an experience not to be missed!!! Go, go, go!! read more

We first did The Witching Hour which was our introduction to escape rooms in general. The puzzles weren't impossible and the hints aren't complete give-aways but they nudge you in the right direction. We were so close to beating The Witching Hour we had to come back for Honor Among Thieves; we were not disappointed. Even though this was a harder room we were able to beat it in record time (at the time). We couldn't wait for the next room and just yesterday we tried The Dinner Party. Best. Room. Ever. It is the most difficult of the three but still soooo much fun! The puzzles were challenging and we ended up getting a few more hints but we got out! Even though we arrived late and were about 30 seconds from having to reschedule, Zach was very cordial and we were able to keep our booking. This place is awesome! P.S. The best thing about this place is that they don't group you with strangers. We can't be all brand-new and gentle meeting new people when there's a time limit and bragging rights on the line. #CmonSon read more

Locked Manhattan was a great time. I went with a group of friends and thought that the set up, explanation, and experience were all top notch. We didn't get out (ugh) but we had a ton of fun, and I know we'll be looking for when they start the next room up later this winter (hint hint!)
