My wife, son, childhood friend, and I had an unforgettable experience that we still can't stop talking about. The ranch is absolutely stunning, and the wildlife is incredible. Throughout our stay, we regularly saw emus, peacocks, fallow deer, axis deer, and lechwe. It truly felt like our own private slice of paradise. We also spent time fishing the three ponds we were given access to and had a blast catching largemouth bass. John was incredibly knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for a successful day on the water. One evening, John and Hillary invited us to dinner at their beautiful lodge. This wasn't just any dinner--it was an unforgettable gourmet meal featuring perfectly cooked steak, creamy mashed potatoes, and a crème brûlée that was simply out of this world. Along with drinks, appetizers, and genuine hospitality, they made us feel like family. John also gave us a tour of the lodge, and the craftsmanship and views are nothing short of spectacular. If you ever have the opportunity to sit down and talk with John about his life experiences and everything he has accomplished, don't pass it up. Lochow Ranch is such an amazing getaway for my friends and me. We loved the peace and solitude, as well as all of the incredible amenities the ranch has to offer. From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by beautiful scenery, stunning lakes, and the relaxing sounds of nature. There was so much to do during our stay. We enjoyed kayaking on the lake, horseback riding through the property, and spending time outdoors taking in the breathtaking views.
