The inside looks like a small office where the receptionists man the phones and deal with basic queries. There is an independent financial advisor who has been very helpful with us. Some of their services are free of charge because they earn comission from a mortgage advisor for example when you take out a mortgage. I would recommend these over some of the other estate agents for their honesty and straightforwardness when compared with the lack of that that some other estate agents in the town have.

I chose HSI for a number of reasons but mostly because of their local office in Crosby and their…read morevery competitive fees. One agent I had out quoted me 1.75% to sell my house, I found HSI to be very upfront and confident with their fees giving me the quote over the phone rather than saying they had to come out to discuss this which was refreshing. Overall on my sale with them I saved £2,772!!! I found all the staff to be professional, honest, very knowledgeable about the local area and most importantly - available to take and return calls quickly throughout the selling process. I used them to manage a couple of my rental properties and their management service was so good I decided to sell with them also. I sold my house quickly for the asking price and I would definitely recommend using HSI, they still have my rental properties and I am confident in their services.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. I find their marketing materials (and website) are clear and descriptive. Their commission charges are also very competitive. There are lots of rival estate agents in the vicinity and therefore they do their upmost to attract new business. They have a reputation of being more attentive than some of the other agencies in the area and don't treat you like just another number. I will definitely use them in the future.

We bought our house through pearsons and I have to say that having dealt with many estate agents…read moreover the years that they are excellent. This is a family run firm, which I think is father and son. The women in the office are all lovely and deserve a medal for the amount of times we phoned them to see if anything had changed. They deal with sales and lettings and have a prominent position in the centre of st annes. I believe they are one of the longer standing estate agents in st annes and they deserve the excellent reputation they have built for themselves. They are very accomodating with viewings, they showed us round a property at gone 7pm one night as it was the only time we could make it and as there was no electric on as the meter had run out they went and got some. There are not many that would do that. Sadly after all that effort we did not buy it but it was not long till they found the perfect property for us as they had listened to what we wanted and did not send us round inappropiate places.

Professional at all times, regular texts and e-mails to keep up updated every step of the way. Everything was dealt with in a timely manner. They were happy to facilitate viewings at our empty property, so we didn't have to, at no extra cost. Their fee is very competitive and unlike some fixed priced agencies does not come with hidden extras in the small print. They did not pressure us to take any of the very low offers we received, we have found in the past when an agency has a fixed price fee they expect you to take unrealistic offers because they will not gain financially by going the extra mile to get you nearer your asking price, not the case with Martin & Co.

They will do all the vetting of tenants, show them round properties for you, collect the rents, sort out repairs and any problems, and can gernerally be trusted to get on with the job should you wish to have minimal input into the tenancy. They market in the local paper the Crosby Herald, both for sale and to let. Recommended.
