we called Mr Handyman to replace broken glass on our two doors. a very nice man came measured and…read moresaid he would do the work. We could buy or own material. All they provided was the labor. however if i wanted they would also provide the material. waiting a few days i called the man who came at the number he gave me. and left a message, asking when he could do this. and joe much was it going to be. he never answered days later the company contacted me saying i was trying to hire their man and would not do any further business with us. although i tried to explain, they insisted. i guess he was using a phone they gave him and monitored his calls?? we then called a regular 'glass company' in Anderson who came and measured. The glass was installed and finished $730 less than Mr Handyman!!! i will show anyone both invoices. ALWAYS CHECK!!!!

After poor craftsmanship and errors were brought to their attention- Terri demonstrated text messages and behaviors that were unprofessional- he even stated he was in it to make money. Thank goodness, Micky the salesman saw to it that the work was corrected and completed as it should be. I feel the price of my windows and installation was a 5 star experience. Jimmy even repaired the fascia and soffits. Now it looks exceptional. Just so disappointed to have to drag in others to assist me and to have had to have sought a lawyer. My advice is to deal with Mickey only. Dot your I's and cross your T's. Know who is doing the work. Before and after photos available as well as copy of text messsage correspondence.

Yan Windows was very responsive and was able to come out and review the job and put a proposal together in short order. Other companies I contacted wanted 3 window minimums or were outrageously expensive for similar products and installation. It took a couple days to get the paperwork all in order and get the windows ordered. Since the windows were not a standard stocked size, they had to be made to spec and the team advised it would take 4-5 weeks when the sales proposal was initially made. I agreed and in 4 weeks, the team reached out to me to see if I would be available for installation. I was advised they could install the windows the next afternoon. I agreed and the crew contacted me on their way out, showed up at the agreed time and installation commenced. The windows installation turned out perfect and were completed on time, with great communication from the crew and a very thorough job site clean up. At the completion of the work, I was asked to complete a very simple satisfaction survey. Yan Windows and the crew got all high marks. I would rate this project as 6 stars if I could - no excuses, just outstanding performance!

I was skeptical as they are the only contractors Lumber Liquidators refers to but I can understand why they maintain that referral relationship: SW Contractors are top notch. Our job was an involved one as we were ripping out tile and carpet throughout our downstairs and putting down hardwood in the kitchen, living, two closets, hallway, bathroom and entryway. Steve came to the house and was able to give a detailed (and pretty competitive) quote right then and there. We had some tight scheduling issues as I wanted the rest of the family out of the house for the install. Laura, the business/office manager, worked with me to get our project scheduled on exactly the days I needed. The crew of three arrived and immediately got to work. By mid-morning, they already had ALL the demo done! Jose, William and Eduardo were fast and meticulous - even taking extra (unexpected) steps to minimize the mess (which, if you've ever removed tile, you know there is a LOT of mess!) They hauled away all of their waste when they were done, too and even kept their work area neat between project days- something I didn't expect but really appreciated. I LOVE my new floor. We went with the taller baseboards as Steve recommended and the finished product is gorgeous, contemporary and SO clean! Laura was even helpful in getting some questions answered for me after the install was finished and emphasized that they would be more than happy to come take a look at anything should I have any concerns.

My time is not for someone else to waste.
