I sat down with him and he explained to me the money I owed to the government to correct this issue. 6 months later I received a letter from the IRS saying I still owe hundreds to them, despite him saying I did not. Now If it were just me listening to him, I can understand. But my wife was there also, and she explicitly remembers the situation also. Why did I pay him to do my taxes only to incur such a headache? Its ridiculous to think that a simple tax return could become such a mistake and escalate to this much frustration. Also the women that work there are dreadful to speak with on the phone. I doubt at this point in his career hes getting new clients, however just do yourself a favor and use turbotax or find someone else.
