I was trying to make an online purchases, they sent/text me a verification code to verify it was me, I put the code in, and the card was declined. However, when I went to the Navy app to check my balance and transactions, they claimed the transaction went through. The transaction did NOT go through on my end or the airlines ends. When I called to dispute the $1700 transaction because it DIDN'T go through. They informed me it can take up to 120 days to get my money back. I don't have 120 days to fix YOUR screw up. I need to buy the tickets NOW. These people were NOT helpful when trying to correct their wrong doing. Back to All In I go. I highly recommend any other CU over these guys. I want to add: All In will replace any disputed funds back into your acct while they investigate. Navy refused to do that.

Been with NFCU for decades and nearly 10 since I retired from service. Always amazing customer…read moreservice, branches are always nice, and the rates for loans are VERY hard to beat. I'm surprised by some of the negative statements as all my family and many friends use NFCU and wouldn't dare go elsewhere. Always great. I've been hacked twice and NFCU was quick to stop the stupidity, take control and issue me new cards, get my funds restored VERY fast, and get us back to normal. During shutdowns, we are always covered. Find another bank that does all that.....and does it well. :) Always NCFU here. -Eric

A lot of questions were asked and were thoroughly answered and explained. The digital presentations they provided really allowed us to see how the numbers work and also showed different options (for example difference in monthly payments with 0% down versus 10% or 20%, rate buy down options, etc.). Their communication was on point and we could tell they work closely as a team. We would definitely use them again and will be recommending the Halvorsen Team to anyone we know. We can't recommend them enough!

It's a rarity that I actually get in the teller line nowadays since the NFCU app is pretty robust to do check deposits with a snap of a photo as well as easy $ transfer from/to any NFCU accounts. I have been very happy with my past engagements with NFCU's loan (mortgage, auto) departments and like the immediate responsiveness of their credit card fraud department when they flag potential fraudulent transactions. I do miss that NFCU no longer has coin counting machines (allowed customers to have their coins counted and deposited directly into NFCU accounts) in any of their branch locations.

We did end up refinancing to a lower rate and everyone was very professional- so no complaints there. My only wish would be for them to have a better technology base-- you can make online payments from your own bank but they don't have an electronic system of their own (they provide printed payment coupon books!). The website is not very feature-rich- you can get a current balance but that's about it. Additionally, I am in the process of considering getting an equity line and they do offer competitive rates. However, unlike other banks that issue a debit card for the equity line (which can be used in retail stores), Everhome will issue a paper check of the funds which you request from your equity line. So it's not very user-friendly.

I had used them when I was local in Jacksonville but I recently moved out of town and I still used them for a new home and everything went great, I now have a beautiful new home thanks to TrustLine. As far as the other negative review about not knowing where a closing is, that is clearly the Realtor's responsibility, not your Mortgage lenders. And the bonus to all this is they lost two pieces of sensitive information, including a copy of my w-2. If I have any issues with identity theft I will be asking them how they plan on fixing it.
