(It also opens at 6 during the week too, great to pop in on your commute!) The drinks and to-go food selection is okay but I do feel other places within the station including WHSmith, Marks and Spencer and the Co-op outside are better, however. It can get a little crowded at peak times, I do occasionally see warehouse boxes around the store too which makes this a little worse. If you're looking for a flu shot, this store as of writing has the best availability in the city centre with appointments most days compared to the Arndale/Market Street branch which would have had me waiting over two weeks, and Piccadilly Gardens which has over a weeks wait for an appointment after 4:30 pm (This is a seasonal thing remember!) Average store in most regards, but opening hours make it much more useful to pick up medicines when in the city. 3*

The reason I've managed to avoid getting the dreaded flu myself is wrapping up warm and carrying First Defense and Cuticura Hand Gel with me. The former keeps me warm and toasty and the latter two kill off bad germs and bacteria. Luckily, this Boots stocks both so whenever I'm travelling and running low on either, I just pop in and grab some on my way to the platform. Handily, they also stock smoothies and breakfast bars too!

Merely entering the Arndale brings on acute anxiety and feeling of want to end it all. Dr.Herbs sells Chinese remedies for everything from spots to lower back pain to anxiety. I am all for natural, organic foods but forgive me if I am a little cynical when it comes to herbal healing. I myself suffered a slipped disc three years ago in my lower back and if I am honest not even morphine substitutes could relieve pain ...it took keyhole surgery to eventually fix it! If only I had known that a few herbs would have relieved the chronic pain I was in ....hmmm. In some situations I understand that anything is worth a try. When my Friend was trying to quit smoking she tried everything and anything, however in the end it was good old fashioned will power and not the power of some flower :)

It goes on to say- 'From skin problems like eczema and psoriasis to back pain and sprains, we offer an all natural cure'- as far as I know all medicines are 'natural'. But the clincher has got to be- 'We also specialise in quitting smoking, losing weight, overcoming depression and relieving stress.' Modern science couldn't do it, heck Kerry Katona and all her millions couldn't do it but a little outlet in the fucking Arndale centre can keep us all thin and sane- at this rate they'll have an infomercial on a cable channel in no time!

Unlike the address on both Yelp, and the Superdrug website, this is only a small store over one floor in the Middleton Shopping Centre, it mainly stocks all your Superdrug essentials and that's about it, for example they have a small selection of drinks including Lipton Iced Teas, which seem to be available at most branches. This branch has a small range of fragrances and similar items. Superdrug had an interesting range of products, mainly specializing in health and beauty, I can't comment on the products in great lengths, as I wouldn't consider myself to have much knowledge in that field, but the range for a store of this size seemed okay, the range on some items such as drinks and fragrences were a little poor. The pricing on most items seemed competitive. In my opinion, this store is average and doesn't seem to go anymore than that, but due to its' size, and that it doesn't stand out as much as a place to shop in the Middleton Shopping Centre, I sadly feel it doesn't deserve more than two stars.

This particular store is a nice large one! Superdrug always have really good offers on things like…read moreshampoo and make up. They always have a great range of small gift ideas too. Their prices are very reasonable and 99% of the time they always have what you are looking for. I recommend this over many other high street stores mainly for their competitve pricing. Definetley the place to go for all your toiletries. I love their travel range, you can get a minature version of most things!!
