The Superdrug store located in the Kennet Centre, Newbury is small and underused. Products tend to…read morebe quite spaced out, especially towards the rear of the store, and it never appears to be as busy as it used to be - perhaps the new store in the High Street has stolen a lot of the customers. Prices are reasonable and often cheaper than competitors Boots, but the ranges aren't as vastfor example you'll only find a small selection of make up retailors and body product suppliers. There is a small selection of drinks and snacks on display - perhaps to encourage the hungary shopper to browse a little. Deals can be found - especially at Christmas when perfume sets retailing at £50 can be sought here for less than £25.

The pharmacist is friendly and discreet, advising quite accurately and great at offering the cheaper versions of medications. The store is well laid out, so everthing is easy to find and staff are really good at going to check the stockroom if you can't see what you want out (particularly if it is on offer). It only has limited ranges of products in, and for example it doesn't stock any sun cream during the winter. It seems to pride itself on being able to give good customer service as you frequently see the store manager actually serving on the till.
