An excellent place for xmas shopping , especially if you take advantage of the 3 for two deals. My top tip is to buy a load of the toiletry setsd in January in the sales - they drop them to silly prices .. and then you can use them for birthday pressies throughout the year!! The staff in this particular branch are fab, really hot on customer service. Its also very clean spacious and well stocked. Particularly good pharmacy here, and a photographic lab to boot (excuse the pun). What more could you want? This branch does not carry the kids clothes unfortunately its not large enough - but the one on the retail park does.

It should be the better of the two .. its got more of everything and its certainly much easier to get around with the kids in tow - however it just lacks something. That something is the friendly and personalised service you get in the smaller branch. Of course I understand they have thousands of customers so they aren't exactly gonna remember your name or your face for that matter. But they just seem disinterested in general. They also seem to have very little choice in meal deals for some reason. They also do that annoying thing where they spray perfume on you as you walk past - always makes me sneeze or choke. Sorry pet hate. Also for a store this size I am amazed there are no toilets.

I have been measured for flight socks and they didnt let me leave till they were sure of right size, the girls on the make up counter No 7 are great and really take their time makng sure you are purchasing the right items for your colouring etc and they will make you up too so you can see the product at work. For months my prescription has gone in on a Friday and when I try and pick it up on a Friday night you get constant excuses as to why you cant have it until Monday. That`s too long to wait. I now take it to Boots in Tamworth and it`s ready in half an hour! Another thing I have found annoying for a long time with this chemist is if your precription is for 100 tablets, you often get this made up in three entirely different coloured boxes from different drug companies. It is then hard to know what you are taking. This must be a nightmare for elderly people or partially sighted people. This used to be a good chemist, unfortunately the service has gone down hill for some time now. Now I've found a chemist giving absolutely fantastic service Lloyd's will not entice me back again
