On this trip, I had lunch at Arby's, but there are plenty of other options, including the amazing Fred's Pizza which is a local favorite. My parents will drive 40 minutes to eat here. The main places for food I can think of is Fred's Pizza, Arby's, Taco Bell, Subway, Starbucks, Long John Silver's, McDonald's, Burger King, Sonora Mexican Grill, and some others. Wheelersburg was established in 1824 (originally called Concord back in the 1800's). Wheelersburg is a friendly little town outside of Portsmouth and recommend if you're passing through the area, or just looking for gas or food, it's always worth a stop!

Today I was attacked, and yelled at by an over zealous store employee. I walked was not greated by either employee both were busy staring at there phones. Neither of them so much as noticed me come in. I walk past waiting to be greeted but I guess at 6 15 am they aren't awake or aware yet. I get my chocolate milk half gallon a bottle of core water and 2 packs of white castle that were on the shelf in the back freezer section. Upon taking said items to the register I was questioned in an immediately hostile tone by the associate about what they were I told him they're white castles 2.69$ is what it said in the back. At that point he said the following " I F-ING Know that and I was F-ing talking to you." I was stunned and he then immediately starts going off about my wife being rude, I'm not married and was there alone he was way out of line and I will avoid this terrible place at all cost. Who is he tocontrol what I can by and to mention my wife which I don't even have is extremely worrying to think he is doing this to not 9nly myself but others to. Said we could get to you Wednesday, you have to bring to us & no help until they saw it. To summarize: super crappy customer service and interaction. 2) called Glockner South Point: service walked me through fixes, tried to remote in, told me I had Ford Roadside and helped me get a truck in the way and said they would work me in this very afternoon. To summarize: Lifesaver. Do not deal with people that don't care and only care want $$$. Run away from Bill Cole.

I'm Done Being Quiet -- A Warning to Anyone Thinking About Buying a Ford (Especially from Bill Cole…read moreFord in Ashland) Let me start by saying I hate calling out businesses. My dad ran his own, and I know how hard that life is. But what I've experienced with Ford, and more specifically Bill Cole Ford in Ashland, has been so outrageous, so infuriating, and honestly so disgusting, that I can't stay quiet anymore. If this post stops even one person from going through what I did, it's worth it. I bought a Ford EcoSport, and at just 26,000 miles, the transmission failed. That's ridiculous. But it gets worse -- when they "fixed" it, they didn't even put enough transmission fluid in the car. That careless mistake caused even more issues down the line. Still, somehow, I gave them another chance. When I went in for a simple oil change, they talked me into looking at new cars -- and I made the mistake of driving off the lot with a Ford Escape. Big mistake. Since then, I've taken the Escape to the Bill Cole Ford service department FIVE times. Let me be blunt: I've never dealt with a group that showed less care or professionalism. * I've begged to speak to a service manager, and no one has ever called me back. * Last week, my car sat at their service department from Tuesday to Saturday, and I didn't get a single update. When someone finally called, it was to ask why I hadn't picked up my car -- as if I was the one dropping the ball! * They claimed they "fixed" it after driving it 40 miles -- but the moment I got back on the road, every sensor lit up again. All they did was run down my gas and waste more of my time. * And of course, when I called back again -- radio silence. No return call. No resolution. I've completely given up on getting anything fixed at this point. I'm beyond disappointed -- I'm disgusted. This whole experience has been one giant, expensive lesson. So here it is, plain and simple: Do not buy a Ford. And whatever you do, DO NOT buy one from Bill Cole Ford in Ashland. The cars are unreliable, and the service is absolutely shameful. Thanks for letting me vent. I wouldn't wish this mess on anyone.
