I went to buy fish and one of the 3 people who were working was very respectful, I told him that I…read morewanted 3 pieces of salmon and he said in a very aggressive tone of voice that I would grab them because he was busy. that they are there to serve the client and they have to put the product so that one does not touch it, but well, I have been a client since the super marke was opened and at the time I was very desired with this I hope and improve the service with these people who believed a lot and thanks to you the clients have work

Simply amazing. The store opens early in the morning (7AM I think) and closes late (I've come…read morearound 11PM and they're still open). The place is always bustling with customers (Must mean they are doing something right - good product rotation). Prices are super cheap and affordable. The store is spacious and clean. The employees are very pleasant and helpful. They have a HUGE selection of fresh produce and on top of that, they have fresh seafood as well. I asked the manager and was told that their produce and seafood are delivered daily to ensure the best quality and maximum freshness. They carry the essentials and a lot of hard to find ethnic grocery products. Their meat is on point as well. They have in house butchers that can cut your meat as you like, all you have to do is ask them at checkout (full service without the crazy prices). For $20 I could purchase enough fruits, veges, meat and seafood to feed myself for a good couple of days. Where else could you find such quality and bargain prices in New York City? Definitely come shop here, you will be shocked at how amazing this place is compared to all the boring supermarkets around here.

This is one of my favorite green markets to go to in Queens. They usually have a large selection of…read morefresh produce, lavender, fresh baked goods, fresh fish, honey and selection of yogurts. They are only open on Sundays so make sure to make it early to get all these great products. My favorite reason to go is to interact with the workers. My favorite employee is Pierina; she would always have a smile on her face and was always available to help. When I didn't have cash, she would help me with the debit and credit tokens. I have not seen her in a while so I am wondering what happened to her since she has been working there every Sunday since I can remember. I will try to locate her at other green markets.

Smaller than the Saturdays Union Square Farmers' Market but also packed with lots of variety!…read more I enjoy visiting this farmers' market because of the variety of produce brought to the local street(s). One can find anything from flowers to herbs, spices, fruits, veggies, apple cider, Korean pastes, free samples, vegan baked goods, breads, cookies, fish, duck and other poultry, pig products, beef, assorted mushrooms, tamales (the one closer to 78th street is best, but if you're up for a sweet or dessert tamale, go to the lady on 80th), booze, syrups, honeys, NYC groups that take used clothing and textiles, compost, and a recycling book stand where anyone can take, swap, or donate books. It's also one block away from Travers Park which was recently updated. Great place to go for a stroll and enjoy. Happy shops!

Still the farmers market that's the largest in Manhattan, and with the best variety. There are over…read more50 vendors from regional producers, bringing baked goods, coffee and tea, flowers, candles, herbs & spices, condiments, meats and charcuterie, dairy and cheeses, all sorts of seasonal fruits and vegetables, bath and beauty items, specialty foods like honey, kimchi, wine & beer. There's also a section of local artists selling things like tshirts, knickknacks, art pieces like paintings and collages. Regardless if I buy anything, I just love walking around the market looking at all the fresh, colorful produce, thinking of what delicious dishes could be made from the plethora of ingredients. Many top restaurants in the city book directly with vendors here, which says something about the quality of the products. Still open Mon, Wed, Fri & Sat. Usually the most vendors on Saturday I think. From 8am to 6pm, though on certain days depending on weather some vendors might start taking down their stands earlier. For more info: https://www.grownyc.org/greenmarket/manhattan-union-square-sa

The fruit and veggies are always so fresh and there's so much to pick from for great prices. Yes farmer's markets are more pricey but if you think about it it's really not when you can get so much more and better quality! There's a great variety of goods not just food. The vibe is always a lot of fun and classic staple to the city.
