However, when it comes to the issues with the quality of their job and when they suppose to rectify the mistakes they made while doing the job then the problems start. The foundation in one part of the driveway was not laid correctly and as the result the driveway started slowly disintegrated. I have been asking Jimmy of Metropavingandlandscaping to do the repair for the last 6 months until it is not too late but he is refusing to repair the driveway he was paid for and guaranteed for 10 years! The principle Waldek them proved hard to get hold off. Dispite paying some of the money upfront I had to get another builder to complete the job. there are several question marks as to whether or not the company is LTD or not, and the address of the builders as Waldek uses several different addresses. I would ask for ID if you are considering using this builder which I do not recomend.

I must have called 40 roofers, all of whom said they were overwrought with work because of the storms and weren't willing to undertake my project. I placed an ad on a building trade site and Mark was the first to call. He came straight round that morning to assess the damage. His quote was reasonable, and he had all work completed by that same week. He was friendly and helpful. He evaluated the possible issues and did some immediate adjustments to the downpipes in order to help remedy the problem leak, returning with additional brackets and carrying out flow tests on Christmas eve to check there were no other places where water was overflowing. Louis was polite, conscientious and punctual, I can recommend him. On the second piece of work Louis carried out at my property, he and his colleague John arranged for scaffolding to be set-up and carried out the removal of an old chimney stack at the back of the property, taking the brick down to below roof level, installing felt and new tiles over the opening and finishing with a tile vent. They carried out the job swiftly, with good humour and tidied away any rubbish. A good job. well done. A third visit from Louis was equally high quality, he visited to doublecheck and investigate a recurring damp issue on a chimney stack, took time to consider all the possibilities.
