Agree with previous comments about Denny Liang, we rented in Pyrmont for a number of years until 2018, we were originally told a storage room in the building came with it but when we moved in that was not the case as the owner had items locked in there, so no storage room. He then failed to send us a rental increase letter which caused all sorts of issues with being in arrears unknowingly. He lied and tried to cover this up my telling us we were sent a letter, this was not the case, no email either. When we moved out we were charged for damage that was already there from previous renters, and removal of 2 furniture items in garage that were also previously there. He obviously didn't do a thorough inspection when the previous renters left. My advice Stay Away! read more

Agreeing with Julie's review, Denny Liang from LJ Pyrmont has been the WORST agent we've dealt with after having years of renting and dealings with RE agencies. Communication was spontaneous and immediate PRIOR to our lease signing, then he stops replying to your emails and enquiries unless you push him hard enough. For example, he sent us an email indicating that he had attached a URL link to our ingoing inspection photographs - BUT THERE WAS NO LINK ATTACHED. We sent a follow-up email asking for the link immediately after receipt, no response. Two business days later, we sent another email asking for the link. STILL NO RESPONSE. How hard is it to copy and paste a link into an email and hitting send? He also failed to inform us that we had to book in our move with the building manager prior to moving in, and then blamed it on us saying that he told us about it before. We keep all records of all forms of communication between him and us, and there was absolutely no proof of him ever saying so. STAY AWAY! read more
