Dealing with the various medical provider and professional organizations has gotten to be a mixed…read morebag. Some facilities are very kind, understanding and accommodating are willing to be patient with the client on a varity of issues. Other are, well not so "professional". The failure typically comes down to the administrative and support staff. As for this office, my experience was long and dismal. Office staff could be rude, come across as primadonna's (that includes a couple nurses). You'd make an appointment, they'd cancel and say they called. You find out that they called a number cancelled years prior eventhough you updated your personal info. According to some, cancellation and not notifying was a common problem with this group. Now another event in my case back during the Covid wackiness, I had an appointment, was 10 minutes late due to something out of my control. When I arrived they said I was cancelled. I stated I simply needed to ask my doctor 1 question regarding a med prescription. They refused, stated I needed to make another appointment. I stated I would wait in the office until she was available to speak with me for a couple minutes. That was unacceptable to them. I refused to leave until I could speak with my doctor. They called the State police. One of the young nurses stated I was violent, threw something at her (big ass lie). Police walked me outside, understood my frustration and agreed with me however its there property and I have not choice to leave. Fair enough, I'll finally look into going to another group. Low and behold later in the week I get a letter stating that "after extensive investigation into the matter" the could no longer have me as a patient. To make a long story shorter, I called the director, ask why didn't their extensive investigation include contacting me. During the conversation he finally noted that it was their lawyers who actually called for dropping me, he was aware of the problems at Durham and was currently interviewing replacements and he would get me into a different Middlesex facility. I took it upon myself to seek another doctor and was fortunate to get an exellent one in the Cromwell facility. Was a great experience for a couple years however he has sinced moved out of state and the only other options for me were young, inexperience interns recently upgraded. I now have an excellent doctor in Guilford (1/2 hour away). Although I have long since left dealing with these folks I was prompted to share this past event having recently discussed how bad this office is with a number of folks having negative experiences here. My take is we are all cogs in the system and many folks simply accept it as do the "lambs to the slaughter", why bother. But some of us get tired of those who do not do there job and we feel compelled to share out bad experiences. So here is my story. My opinion is if you want to stay with Middlesex, avoid this office. Its small, reception/waiting areas is dingy and unwelcoming. I can't speak for other MH offices however consider the Cromwell office (right off Rt.9). Its new, reception is fairly large, open and brightly lit, well staffed and they are extremely polity and friendly.

Jacobs spent no more than 25 minutes asking me questions her computer prompted. No physical to speak of. Highway robbery And outright lies. And Middlesex is an excellent hospital with sound systems in place, making this office a seeming anomaly. From my experiences, they can do a lot better.

My child was a patient of hers starting in /2023 without incident. However, after negligent and substandard care where an unlicensed clinical psychology intern was allowed to discuss my child's treatment with Dr. Reddy, my child was given the flu vaccine in September of 2025 without consent from my wife or myself. Dr. Reddy's excuse was that the child seemed so mature she forgot to ask us for consent. My child was 13 at this appointment. Connecticut law requires that ALL vaccinations and wellness checkup related care be approved by a parent or legal guardian and Dr. Reddy knowingly bypassed parental consent laws. Do not send your child here.

That being said I have a thyroid condition. And I don't have a thyroid anymore. I was having severe symptoms for years G.I. my heart ovarian Sez. And many many more I had lab work to show that I was going autoimmune I had lab work to show that my thyroid was not regulated. They would not give me referrals to an endocrine or to a G.I. I never knew why. And a few years later sure enough I went full-blown auto immune because of their neglect. It was hard because out there there are not a lot of good quality doctors. I had trouble finding more so I stuck with that. Until I found a hormone Doctor Who I absolutely love and it's not with Middlesex. I hope anyone who uses this facility ends up being a big advocate for themselves because you'll need it.
