It's also an added bonus that I was able to get a same day first time appt which consisted of an exam and an adjustment. The staff are very friendly and professional. The receptionist gave me a quick tour of their facility so I was pleased to see they have several treatment rooms and equipment as well as an exercise area for rehab and a few massage therapy rooms. Dr Lowell is a very nice guy who greeted me with a cheerful smile and quickly got to work assessing my issue. He definitely knows his stuff. He apparently has been a chiropractor in the area for a few decades. His pressure is pretty strong and his hands are made of steel. Be sure to speak up if you want lighter pressure. He keeps the conversation going as he does the adjustments so time really flies. I had sweet relief from my knots of pain and stress within a few short minutes. The tens unit and the heating pad helped too. He also does acupuncture if you are interested. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend DR Lowell and First Chiropractic. I began to have tense lower back and upper back pain but just thought I was not stretching enough or needed to work on my posture at work and school, but soon realized it was much worse than that. First I went to a Sports Medicine doctor that told me to work on my core an referred me to physical therapy. That worked for about a couple months and then the fatigue and cramps came back but things got progressively worse, my energy got low and I felt like I was not myself. After researching my symptoms it became obvious that I needed to see a Chiropractor. I started my treatment, but did not feel fulfilled at other clinics. After all my friends and family knew I had this issue that didn't seem to want to go away, they began looking for great recommendations for a good Chiro to send me, since people say "a good one is hard to come by." After zooming into the Chiro's that were closest to my job and school, I found Doctor Josh Stephens's practice Health Source and it has been great ever since! He is truly a great Chiro who is invested in you getting better. The office is always neat and clean. His assistant Erica is kind and pleasant. Dr. Stephens and I worked together on a plan for my improvement and I am a testament of the plan working and life changing! (Seriously). To start off our plan he suggested Active care which required me to come in 3x a week for a month. Then we moved it down to 2x a week and now I go 1x a week for maintenance until I have the occasional flare up due to stress. The take away is, I feel so brand new every time I go and I am eternally grateful.
